Maryborough Motel and Conference Centre

Not how I remember from previous visits only good part staff waited up as bus was 30 mins late went down hill from there beds very low . cupboard door under was basin had missing door mould on shower tracks and laying in bed lots dust hanging from lift box's Only two pillows no extra pillows or blankets things that are normal in other hotels pool did not look inviting as looked like paint peeling off pool floor overall a very disappointing dtay

Nice and clean for a short overnight stay, owner was very friendly and nice, even bought us Christmas cookies.

The photos on the website and booking platforms are nothing like what you see when you get there. So badly run. Is very untidy. Our room was the old reception area. The bathroom was poorly renovated or installed. Nowhere to put products as the vanity was tiny. No towel racks. The floor floods when you shower. The light switch for bathroom is near front door. The sliding door kept falling off the tracks. Poorly installed. The room was crammed, 2 queen beds and a single. The tiniest table and 2 chairs. A fridge that had no crisper or door fittings. The microwave required a chair that you climbed on to reach, even my 6ft grandson found it awkward. No glassware, dessert spoons or bowls. No teatowels or hand towels but plenty of bath mats. I am glad that I wasn't staying long. I travel a lot and this was one of the worst choices I have made
