Out of the crowded tourist places, amazing food, stunning view of Capri Island, rooms are clean and the staff is unique and helpful! Btw, great wine selection from the Campania region.

This hotel is really a big bummer. I don't know why it has a 4.3 rating. In order to prevent anyone from being misled to place an order, I will complain about the problems of this hotel in detail: 1⃣️ Psychedelic location: My family and I rented a car in Naples first, then drove to Pompeii-Sorrento-Positano-Amalfi-Ravello, and finally returned to Naples to return the car, and then flew to France. It was a total of 4 days and 3 nights. Because my family and I don't like the special forces itinerary very much, we want to choose a hotel with the most suitable location and can stay for 3 consecutive nights, drive every day, and travel at any time. Search for hotels in Sorrento on Ctrip, and this hotel is the top recommendation on Ctrip's homepage. But in fact, this hotel is not in Sorrento at all, it is on the hillside outside the city, and there is nothing around it. Although the hotel is less than 13 kilometers away from Sorrento in a straight line, it takes 40 minutes to drive from the hotel, and it is all winding mountain roads. It takes less than an hour to drive from Sorrento to Positano, but it takes 70 minutes to drive from this hotel to Positano. Driving out of the hotel, no matter where you drive, you have to drive half an hour on the winding mountain road before you can get on the main road. I am also drunk. I would like to ask Ctrip, why is it so inconvenient to give it a top push? Usually, when booking a hotel, the recommendation of the platform is an important reason for many people to consider. Can you please pay more attention to Ctrip and don’t let down the trust of customers? 2⃣️Bad room: I booked a deluxe open-style sea view room this time, with a room rate of nearly 2,000 per night, and the room was like a simple homestay. The balcony in the room type introduction is simply a joke. There is a small open space when the door is opened, and insects crawl around. There is a table, and there is a small road in front. There is not even a step. How can you call it a balcony? The bathroom has not been cleaned carefully at all, and the odor is very strong. There are spider webs and dust on the windowsill. There was dust everywhere in the room. After sleeping for a night, my rhinitis was immediately activated. I kept sneezing and was extremely embarrassed. I went to Sorrento to buy medicine early the next morning. I have to say that the room pictures uploaded by the platform are simply optimized to the extreme, almost catching up with AI. My family and I placed the order after seeing the pictures and thinking they were good. If these pictures are provided by the hotel itself, can you Ctrip check them a little? 3⃣️Outrageous situation: There is no mobile phone signal or Wi-Fi signal in the room. I don’t know if foreigners can tolerate this situation, but I think Chinese people can’t tolerate it. I returned to the hotel room at night and found that my mobile phone had no signal at all. I wanted to go to the reception to change rooms, but I found that the staff had gone off work after 8 pm. No one was on duty, so I could only stand outside the reception door to reply to messages (only here was the WiFi signal full). Then when I went there later, I found that two foreigners were also standing there with their laptops surfing the Internet. So it is a common phenomenon that there is no signal in the room. Poor me, I worked as a doorman for more than two hours on the night of September 30 (because of the time difference, it was already October 1st in China, and it was my birthday on National Day, so I had to make calls and send messages). I went to the front desk to complain, and the staff said sorry to me, then shrugged and shook her head, saying that she couldn't do anything, and there was no room for me to change even though it was fully booked. It was really terrible. There were two other intolerable problems when I complained: First, the shower head on the top of the bathroom only sprayed cold water, no matter how I adjusted it, it was always cold water, and in the end I could only use the handheld shower head with a normal but unfixed water temperature to quickly rinse. I was really angry! Second, there was no quilt in the room, and there were only two layers of sheets on the bed. When I found out that there was no quilt on the first night, the front desk was off work and no one cared. My family and I slept on the sheets with bathrobes on. The next day, I asked the cleaning staff for a quilt, and they brought a piece of cotton wool without a quilt cover. I was really furious. How can such a hotel with nothing good still be open? It should have closed down long ago! To sum it up, the hotel is far from anywhere and inconvenient (it is basically impossible to get around without driving), and the hardware and software are ridiculously bad. I really can't think of any reason why this hotel can be recommended at the top. My 4-day free travel in southern Italy + birthday was ruined! So everyone who sees my personal experience, quickly block this hotel, and don't step on the thunder again!

A village-style hotel on top of a mountain. Traveling to and from the hotel to the city is inconvenient, there is no Uber or taxi service, and reservations made through the hotel are expensive. The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely delicious, especially the pizza and pasta. The pool is large and deep, the atmosphere is great, and the kids were delighted.

Thank you so so much for an amazing stay. We loved the place, the view and everything about it. Be ready for a place a bit further in the countryside with cosy apartments and rooms. The staff was really helpful when I needed medical help. We did not try the pool BUT next time we come, we will stay longer and have more fun around.

The best thing about this resort is the staff. They couldn't be more friendly or helpful. They don't sweat the small stuff (taking a bowl of fresh fruit back to our apartment after breakfast; checking out at 12pm rather than 10.30am) and they sorted out problems instantly (Leaky shower. No problem. 5 minutes later a handyman fixed it. Mattress not the most comfortable. No problem. We'll get a brand new topper) The second thing is the location. I always worry when it says sea views it will be possible to see the sea by leaning out of the bathroom window or something similar. Not here. There are unrestricted views over the sea to Capri, even in the cheaper apartments like we had. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. We cooked a couple of simple meals and made lunches each day. The village nearby is a little gem. It has a great corner shop with fresh produce and most other things you could need. Incredibly for a tiny place there are a couple of great places to eat. We went to Eugenes. It is sort of "grandma's kitchen". The food was inexpensive but delicious. The house wine at €4 for half a litre was more than acceptable. One warning. This is a remote location. You either need a car (and the confidence to drive around the cliff edges) or to rely on the buses to Sorrento. They are infrequent but we found them reliable. The only real problem was that the last one left Sorrento at 8.15pm. No late nights out! Taxis are €70 each way not £16-19 as Google said when we booked. It is at least half an hour into Sorrento and can take an hour to get home. We loved this holiday. We'd recommend the resort to anyone who wants a getaway to this exquisite part of Italy.

Our memories of Gocce Di Capri shall stay with us always. Exceptional friendly staff who welcome you like family. A resort like no other so relaxing, quiet and not far away from other well known scenic locations. We relaxed everyday enjoying the beautiful views across to Capri, Ischia and Procida. Both restaurants were wonderful with a great choice of menu. Enjoy the local wines from the region. Our favourite days were relaxing by the pool as the sun sets over Capri… Thank you so much for making our vacation so special looking forward to retuning again soon. Perfetto 🙏🌻👏👏 Ciao Deb and Wayne Australia.

Lovely friendly, family owned hotel with amazing views of Capri. I think that this is one of the best value accommodations in the area. We rented a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony and views of capri. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. From check- to check-out and everything in-between the staff were fantastic. The pool is a real gem, however the restaurant is excellent too. We ate here a few times as the food was probably the best that we ate on the Amalfi coast and the Steak was the best I've ever eaten. Special mention for the breakfast too, 12 Euros for an absolute ton of food is really good on the Amalfi. Rather than choose individual items the waiter just bought us a selection of everything. The bar-staff were so good and the cocktails are really good value. We will return one day Simon

Myself and my fiancé spent 7 wonderful nights here and had a great time. Staff are very friendly and helpful, plus food in the cafe bar and restaurant are delicious. The room we stayed in could do with an update but it did the job and was very clean. It seems they are updating rooms at the resort since many of them are brand new. We will definitely stay here again as we are getting married in 2026 in the area.

Just back from a wonderful week at Gocce di Capri and missing it already! The hotel is in a beautiful spot, so relaxed with stunning views over the Amalfi and perfect after a hectic day of sightseeing. Made sure to have a pool day and just chilled with a limonchello spritz or two while getting lost in the views. Our apartment was a great size with a fantastic balcony and again those all important views. The only negative i couldnsay is the apartment could do with an update but that aside it was perfect. The restaurant is a must visit, with delicious freshly prepared dishes. The breakfast in the upstairs was a great way to start our day and for €12 it would be hard to beat! The best part of our stay was the team! Everyone was just so friendly and couldn't do enough to help make our stay a wonderful experience.

For several years now, I have been spending my holidays in this enchanting place, nestled in a breathtaking natural setting that offers spectacular views and unparalleled tranquility. That being said, the true strength of this establishment is the staff, which sets it apart from the surrounding accommodations. From the moment of arrival to departure, the staff ( receptionists, bar and cleaning staff) is extremely friendly, attentive, and responsive to guests' needs. I would even say they make you feel like family. Their dedication and genuine desire to make the stay as comfortable as possible more than compensate for the structural shortcomings, which could benefit from some improvements to enhance the quality of life. Without the extraordinary and caring team that takes care of Gocce di Capri, the experience would be entirely different. Their warmth transforms an already beautiful place into one you wish to return to, stay at, and never leave.

We ate lunch here and used the pool for a day. The service was great and the food was delicious. We had lost of drinks here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is the closest point to capri on the mainland and absolutely beautiful. It is difficult to get to but worth it once there.

Ciao, we had a great time in this wonderful hotel. We booked an appartment (300) which was a bit oversized to our surprise, but with a great and private terrazza. From every side you have an amazing view on Capri and the sunset, even from the shower 😃 . The room was not serviced (appartment) but when we asked for it, they immediately Cleaned and changed towels. For the price, the room needs modernisation, but it adds to the charm. The whole atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. In a personal way. I recommand a visit to Nerano and the nice walk from Termini to punto Campanella. Beautiful views. The restaurant is very good and i can recommand it. If you want to go out, nearby is Eughenes, basic but delicious. Thanks for the nice stay.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have our wedding celebration at Gocce Di Capri and it was a DREAM come true!!!! Mary was the absolute best, so accommodating and everything went amazing. We had about 16 guests and everyone loved it as much as we did. The view and atmosphere was better than I could have ever imaged especially the patio view of Capri from our room!! The food in the restaurant on the property was delicious, the eggplant parm and tuna salad was my absolute favorite. Thank you SOOO much to Mary and everyone who was part of our stay and special day we are forever grateful. This place is a must stay!!!
