Green Rich Hotel Matsue Ekimae Reviews

Of all the Green Rich Hotel we’ve stayed, this one seems to be the oldest. It still use a key instead of a key card. The ambience of the hotel and corridor gave a “scooby-doo” kinda vibe. But.. but.. the location is great, the service from staff was excellent. Hassle free check-in and luggage storage. We came early to store our luggage and they already put it in our room when we return to check-in. It’s the Green Rich Hotel standard. Well, 5 mins walk from station and bus-stop to take the loop line bus to the sights. 10-15 minutes walk from the Lake Shinji sunset view. Restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel restaurants itself is pretty well-known.

2min walk from Matsue station which was really nice. 711 combini 20 meters away. The highlight was the onsen within the hotel which was open till very late. Nothing beats an onsen after a long traveling day.

It’s normal Japan business hotel, small, clean and have everything you need. Don’t expect any service and big room and you are good to go.

A hotel that is convenient. There is an articial spring in the basement that closes at 1am. Good for people who have got a long day out. The bedding is clean but a bit yellowish. Very polite and good hotel staff. They let us store the luggage for two nights while we r away and will come back to stay on the 3rd night.

I think it would be better if you could choose and take the amenities yourself, such as in front of the front desk or in front of the elevator.

Once you enter the hotel, you have to carry your suitcase up many stairs, which is very tiring. The soundproofing in the room is very poor, and the sound of slippers can be easily heard. The wallpaper in the room has peeled off, and the air conditioner vent is full of dust. It is absolutely unreasonable for this price.

The underground hot spring was broken and the water was dirty and there was not much hot water.

There was no option to choose the pillow, and although the reviews had written good things about the breakfast, there was someone waiting for coffee, and they asked me, the guest, to sympathize with them, and then complained about the fact that someone else had chosen it... It ruined our 30-year wedding anniversary trip. But the front desk staff were very helpful.

It's on the street in front of Matsue Station. Walk left for about 5-10 minutes after exiting the station. There seems to be another one opposite the station. Remember to distinguish them clearly. You have to walk up the stairs to the second floor when you come in. It's really not friendly with luggage... The hotel has a hot spring. Boys have keys and girls have passwords that change every day. The hotel is also very convenient, after all, the station is nearby. Aeon is also only 5-10 minutes walk from the station. You have to take a car to Matsue Castle, or walk through Lake Shinji. It's super windy, but the sunset is beautiful~

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I was able to relax in the large public bath. It was also close to the downtown area, so I had no trouble finding somewhere to eat.

The hotel staff are very polite and will introduce tourist attractions in Songjiang. The hotel facilities need to be improved and the carpet needs to be updated. The breakfast is acceptable, including fried eggs with herring, etc.

There was a bath and a variety of breakfast options. The front desk staff were very kind.

It was old but clean and the staff was very friendly.
