Hotel Luna Park

I stayed here on a tour. The location is very close to the Dogo Onsen main building, so it's convenient for going there for a bath. Bamboo baskets, towels, and soap are available for rent for outdoor bathing. This system is the same at surrounding hotels. The building had a strange structure, and the tour bus stopped on the 5th floor of the main building at the back. The room was on the 3rd floor of the main building, but the room was divided into left and right rooms across the elevator. The rooms on the right side facing the atrium can see the windows of the building next door, so the rooms on the left side are probably better. The room is large, but there are 4 beds, so there's a lot of space that you can't actually use. The room has a unit bath, but since it is Dogo Onsen, the hot water is on the roof of the annex building and comes up from below the bathtub, so it is so hot that you can't get into it without stirring it. There was also a ceramic kiln bath. Although I went to Dogo Onsen, this bath was a bit disappointing. The next morning I had a unit bath in my room. I went to Dogo Onsen Honkan once in the evening and made a reservation for 9pm, so I was able to enter. Without this, it would have been a rough stay. Since we were on several tours, we had a set kaiseki meal for dinner at a set time, but there were no special dishes other than the sea bream simmered. Breakfast was a buffet with other guests in the same banquet hall, but it was unusually crowded. If the bus departure times overlap, it will likely be a problem.
