La Rencontre Izumimachi

This guesthouse was spacious! The kitchen and washing machine were fully equipped! We bought Ehime Black A5 Wagyu beef to cook! The marbling was absolutely gorgeous! It was my first time eating beef! Maybe I'm just naive… but it was so delicious! The guesthouse was in a slightly remote location, a bit of a walk, but still within walking distance. It wasn't too far from the main tourist attractions, which is great since we're used to exercising! Matsuyama Castle was truly magnificent! The scenery was stunning! The sea bream rice in Matsuyama was amazing; I ate it for two days straight! Dogo Onsen is a tourist area with many shopping streets, which I didn't like because it was too commercialized. However, the free foot bath was incredibly comfortable. I used it twice, and the first time, my feet were surprisingly smooth! I went back and used it again! Wow! Even the dead skin and calluses on my feet softened! Normally, even applying skincare products in China doesn't work; I have to scrub off the dead skin. There, it miraculously disappeared… what kind of magic water is this?! I didn't soak in the Dogo Onsen because of my period, but I did soak my feet! A truly perfect trip!

I really recommend this place. It's really good. The transportation is good and the location is just right for getting around.

The parking lot was nearby and the room was clean. It was very convenient that the toilet and bathroom were separate!
