Dogo-No-Oyado Iwasaki

It was close to Dogo Onsen, the room was spacious and clean, and it was quiet and comfortable. However, although yukata were provided, there was only one type to choose from, and it was a bit cold so it would have been better if I had something to wear over it. The bakery was also closed, and I checked out before opening time, so I was disappointed that I couldn't eat there.

I booked a 3-person (4-person) room with a mattress, and it was nice that the room was spacious enough and had a separate space to organize my suitcases. There was an induction stove and kettle, so I was able to make tea or simply eat cup ramen. The room was very clean and the blanket was thick. If you are traveling as a family of three, I would definitely recommend this room. There is a large supermarket a 3-minute walk away, so it is easy to shop and there are many convenience foods. It's an 8-minute walk from downtown Dogo Onsen, but it's closer than it looks on the map. It is a distance that you can easily walk to the hot springs late at night. If your goal is a hot spring, I highly recommend it. I traveled all on foot, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to Matsuyama Castle Cable and about 30 minutes to Okaido. The downside was that there were no staff fluent in English, but it wasn't a big problem. He was kind and made an effort to explain the room well in a mix of English, Japanese, and Korean. thanked!
