Hotel Kowakuen Haruka

Facilities: The soundproofing is terrible, which is a common issue with hot spring inns. You can hear everything happening next door. On the first night, the people next door were loudly speaking Cantonese past midnight. After an hour of enduring it, I couldn't take it anymore and complained to the front desk. Thankfully, they quickly intervened, and the neighbors quieted down, but I still didn't get to sleep until past 2 AM. The air conditioning also blew directly onto the bed, so I didn't sleep well. The next day, I had a terrible stomach bug and spent the entire day in bed, unable to eat or go anywhere. Luckily, on the second night, the neighbors were Japanese and very quiet, so I finally got a good night's sleep and recovered. Environment: Check-in was quite difficult; I had to go a long way around to find the inn. It's only convenient if you know about the shortcut with the elevator, which is impossible for first-time visitors to know. The elevator shortcut is indeed very convenient. Service: Bottled water is provided, and it's very convenient that towels are available at the public bath. You absolutely must try the honey bread for breakfast; it's incredibly delicious. Overall, I'm still quite satisfied.
