Veranda Tamarin Hotel and Spa, 3 Star

The hotel offers 24-hour check-in, which is different from the description. I booked breakfast and dinner, but I arrived at 11 PM on the first day, so there was no dinner, and it wasn't rescheduled for later. The room wasn't very big, but it was okay. The toilet leaked every time I flushed. Breakfast and dinner didn't have many choices, but they were quite good for me, and the dishes were different on both nights. If you want to go dolphin and whale watching boat trips nearby, it's only 100 meters from the departure point (depending on which company you join). The contact number on trip.com is not the hotel's number, but Rogers Hospitality's. When I called them, they asked me to send an email, but they didn't reply. Fortunately, the hotel staff were nice, but not all of them spoke English. The hotel has daily activities; you can check the sign next to the restaurant entrance. I only saw it on the first day I left, so I didn't get a chance to participate.

I don't recommend it if you're here for vacation, because there are a lot of ants here, the sound insulation is very poor, there's a village around, if you're near the beach, there will be villagers playing loud music at night, it takes a long time to quiet down, if you're just here to chase dolphins or surf, you can stay for one or two nights, it's not recommended to stay for a long time, it's far from the center of Port Louis, the experience is average, the staff are friendly

The hotel was extremely noisy with no soundproofing, and it smelled terrible; I could smell sewage while sleeping. The room was dirty and the facilities were old. The staff were very rude; the front desk staff were on their phones and ignored me, giving me a sour look and refusing to address any issues. I got bitten by mosquitoes more than a dozen times while eating breakfast in the restaurant. The problem was only resolved after Ctrip customer service intervened.

The garden view is OK, but the room facilities are simple. The biggest feature is that the meeting point for chasing dolphins is on the beach next to the hotel, just 200 meters away. If you want to play on the beach, you should stay in the hotel on the east side of the island, where the beach is very good.
