Overall, the biggest highlight of this hotel is its beautiful landscape, but other aspects are just so-so. 1. The cleanliness could be improved; you'll find some stains on the towels and bedsheets. 2. The hotel is located within a national park, and the final road leading to it requires some good driving skills—it's not an easy drive. It can be a bit inconvenient if you plan on going out every day. This hotel is more suitable for guests who want to mostly stay on-site. 3. The hotel's Wi-Fi is mediocre, with slow and unstable speeds. 4. Breakfast starts quite late at 8:30 AM, which means those planning early day trips won't be able to eat before heading out.

It’s a little adventurous to get here (only possible with own car or their van on request). But the views from their restaurant and rooms are extremely stunning!!!! The service is a bit slow and if there is something or you need something you have to call the reception with your own phone. Also, wifi connectivity can vary depending on the weather up there. Be aware, no kids allowed and the terrain is difficult for people who have difficulty with walking. At the end of the day you come here for the paradise view, which is just mesmerizing!

The hotel is located in a very picturesque location – Chamarel National Park. Stunning views, tranquility, and birdsong are abound. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the staff is friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious. Parking is available both at the chalet and near reception, with space for several cars. The only drawback is the long climb up the hill to the hotel, about 30 minutes.

We visited Chalets Chamarel for lunch and the views absolutely blew us away. This place is a hidden gem and a must for a few nights whilst staying in Mauritius. One cannot get closers to the mountains, earth and sea than Chalets Chamarel ❤️ Our lunch was delicious and our hospitable restaurant manager Sharin was attentive and polite. I wish Chalets Chamarel could stay hidden but everyone should share in its beauty

We had a wonderful stay at Chalet Chamarel. The chalet was very clean and comfortable, and the food was good. The steak is a must try, kudos to the chef. The location is truly out of this world, absolutely stunning and unforgettable. The Sunset view there is one of the beautiful on the island. A special mention to Nirmal and Vanousha for the warm welcome at check-in but also their assistance prior to our visit to make it even more memorable, and to Daniel at the restaurant for his attentive service. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend it.
