If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you. A small and cozy hotel surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is ordinary, you won’t go hungry, alcohol and water are paid, order from the menu. Beach towels are available for a fee. There are no cafes or restaurants near the hotels, no shops, 10 minutes walk from the main road. The location will be convenient if you plan to see the sights of the southern or western part of the island.

The location alone is an absolute paradise, literally by the beach, with breathtaking sea views, peaceful surroundings, and the most incredible sunsets imaginable. Each morning felt like we were on a picture-perfect postcard, a dream. Simply excellent. Each day began with a wonderful variety of fresh and delicious breakfast options at the buffet, from fresh omelettes to pancakes, fresh yoghurts and fruit. Evening meals were excellent – beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly complementing the hotel’s serene, beachfront vibe. The variety was simply outstanding! What truly sets La Mariposa Mauritius apart, however, is its staff; every member treated us with the kindness, warmth, professionalism, and genuine care that make you feel like family. Special mention must go to Dhivek, the Operational Manager, and Dweena, the Hotel Manager, both outstanding and dedicated individuals who went above and beyond in every aspect to ensure our stay was perfection. One of the most magical moments of our trip, and in fact of our lives, happened right here! The Mariposa team organised a stunning beach proposal for me with a private and tailored sunset experience complete with a personalised menu, champagne, and the most romantic set-up on the sands of the beach. Every detail was meticulously planned and beautifully executed. The whole experience was pure perfection and a memory we will treasure forever. The service throughout our stay was impeccable. Every request was met with sincerity, and nothing was ever too much trouble, always anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. The combination of the stunning location, serene atmosphere, and the level of care made the trip truly unforgettable.
