Coral Azur Beach Resort

This hotel doesn't live up to its 3-star rating; everything around it is falling apart (the steps, the decor). The room has rumpled curtains, a broken sink, and is dirty (dust, other people's hair, stains). The air conditioner smells bad. It was even really bad when we checked in. Honestly, it's a waste of money; we had to leave early.

We stayed for three days, started our acquaintance with Mauritius from this hotel. Good unobtrusive service, daily cleaning, good view from the room (in the description a view of the garden, but in fact a view of the ocean), cozy territory, there is Wi-Fi and a swimming pool, good breakfasts. If you like hotel rest, then I safely recommend it. If you plan to visit many places, then it is more convenient to rent a car - the hotel is located far from other beaches of the island, there is a free and large parking lot.

Excellent stay at Coral Azur! Very varied breakfast and dinner, excellent dishes! The swimming pool is very nice, and the beaches are a few minutes from the hotel. The scenery of the hotel is good, and the sunrise and sunset photos are good. However, there are some reefs on the main beach, and there are often groupers in them, which is not suitable for swimming. But you can play in the water The hotel is located near the bus station. There are many buses that can go to the areas along the Great Bay. The fare is only 30 rupees, which is equivalent to 4.5 RMB. Very convenient. The open beach near the hotel is better and you can go paragliding. The hotel staff were quite enthusiastic, but when settling the exchange rate, they were too clever and gave me 43 for 1 U.S. dollar. The normal rate at the airport was 46. To be honest, I didn’t have much money, but I just felt uncomfortable. Regarding lunch, it costs 30 US dollars, but it is relatively simple and has not many tricks. Breakfast is basically the same every day. There are local weddings held every day in the hotel, which is very festive and shows that the hotel's consumption is reasonable. It is a very cost-effective seaside hotel in the Grand Bay area of ​​Mauritius and is worth staying for many days.
