Really enjoyed the stay at Jadis. Room was very nice and spacious. Staffs were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Food was nice. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. Would recommend this hotel to anyone 🙂 Though there is not too much around the hotel and the main leisure activity is the main swimming pool. But restaurants are very nice 👌

We would really like to spend some words of praise and gratitude after wonderful days at Le Jadis Mauritius. We arrived late and from Justice at the door to the Front Desk Team we received the warmest welcome. I know this cannot be expected every time, but due to some work in progress on the left wing of the Hotel (which did not affect our stay at all!) , we were generously upgraded into absolutely beautiful adjacent rooms with outdoor pool. The few of the ocean and the greenery around the hotel was truly magnificent. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and I really want to mention the quality of the bed…Absolutely loved it! The beach is very intimate so it is good to enjoy and get some rest as well. Depending on tide, the beach has stones at places when you enter, so for convenience it could make sense to bring swimming shoes. Make sure to stop by at the boathouse for an amazing snorkeling trip on the glass bottom boat with Joey and Enrico. The quality of food was excellent and we would really like to point out that the staff was absolutely outstanding when it comes to hospitality. Big shoutout to Nick, Nana, Roobesh and really the whole Crew without exception! We really enjoyed our time with you guys. The one person that really stood out to us was wonderful Remu. Such a soulful and heartwarming person that looked after us like we were family. Unforgettable and unparalleled… Also the poolarea with sandy and solid ground was great to stay at. We had a lot to do during daytime why we decided to opt in for Bed and Breakfast only instead of Half Board or All inklusive. Nevertheless we chose to eat at the hotel quite often and I would like to mention that we felt the prices were absolutely fair and decent. The quality and taste of the food was superb! Overall an remarkably great time, thank you very much and all the best!

Very pleasant and respectful staff. The hotel is in a beautiful quiet location in balaclava . Room sizes are big compared to other hotels. Samantha at the front desk was an exceptional host during my stay. Kiran was also very helpful . Ronnie the chef was excellent his preparation of vegan meals where outstanding

Good generally, with incredible bedrooms. Hotel management and training needs improving as do the facilities, but am sure they will get there. The rooms are absolutely stunning, modern, exceptionally clean, and with a beautiful private pool. The rooms are undoubtably the best bit of the hotel. The kitchen and restaurant staff were very attentive and kind. And the food was delicious. But we got the impression some staff needed better service training, and I didn’t see anyone from senior management in the hotel throughout the stay (although I was only there two nights/over a weekend). I understand the hotel has new ownership, it has all the potential to be fantastic, and we are very grateful for the time we had as a family there

The reason we have given a rating of Very Good is because the Mauritian staff have been amazing & do go beyond to make our stay a great experience - ‘hospitality, warm welcome, smile & humour’. As we walked in we were impressed with the welcome & induction by the member of staff on duty (02.11.23). The hotel itself had the ‘wow’ factor for us in terms of Spa & Wellness. Great environment, architecture & design. The second day my husband & I had one treatment each. Yolena did an amazing job. Best treatment I have ever had. My husband’s feedback on his treatment with Vanessa is all very positive, relaxed & professional. We enjoyed the music. Great singers - unfortunately there was a lot of noise from a big group of different ages, some teenagers. It did spoil the appreciation of such great singers. The service from the mauritian waiters/waitresses were fantastic - we were looked after so well. They made us feel special. Renu, Arvin (Manager), barman were all so dedicated to their job, and doing their very best. No disrespect to the newly-imported staff - they are trying but sadly the language is a great barrier, which is a detriment to the service all tourists received from Le Jadis. We loved the creole lunches prepared by Anna, and it was to expectation. The one disappointment for us was the food in the main restaurant. It was very poor. So unexpected from a 5-star hotel. The first meal - beef sirloin was tough & lots of fat, and unedible (it was returmed & changed to a different meal on the menu). Second meal was Red Thai chicken curry, which did not look nor tasted like red thai chicken. The 3rd & 4th meal were, basically, buffet,!!! The very basic of presenting food was missing - hot food was served on cold plates. In fact, there is no facility for warming plates. Unbelievable of a 5-star hotel!! One other factor which needs to be mentioned - we chose Le Jadis because of the Spa & Wellness, and calming environment, quiet & peaceful. We were quite shocked that Le Jadis finds the need to take groups for parties, i.e. teenagers celebrating birthday, creating non-stop screaming, shouting in the swimming pool for the whole afternoon. This does contradict the very essence of Le Jadis’ philosophy on calm, quiet and peaceful. Please note that this review is based on our very recent Experience at Le Jadis but it is also against a benchmark of all other 4-star & 5-star hotels where we have been over the years

Since end of January, I was looking to finalize a booking for Valentine dinner but marketing and communication management are so poor especially in Maritim, Maradiva, etc... And Le Jadis Resort was the first one to advertise such an appealing promos with menu including selection of vegetarian which is a highlight to target all audience's needs. But at Le Jadis, my experience was entirely different, CHRIS the Social Media Manager was a true comfort to discuss all your needs. His extensive knowledge in customer interactions was outstanding that he convinced me that my experience will be exceptional. Imagine if someone has this potential without seeing the face, without hearing the voice, only in writing. The dinner took place in a cabana on the beach. As it was a surprised location for my husband, he was so mesmerized by the beauty and set up of the place. The energy was so Divine and full of Love. You can see the effort and attention to details, the staff did. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the Executive Chef RAKESH and Chef CURTIS who agreed to change the existing set menu to my request. Every details-shape , color, taste in the SPECIAL MENU was making me fall in love again. the bread in heart shape, When we met Gado Gado, our first date sushi, love in the air dumpling soup, knot sparkling romance raspberry sorbet, Main course love experience ( the rice on itself alone was so delicious), and love story dessert pandan crepes. All was yummylicious. And finally, the Supervisor RENU, made sure that our experience was 5*. She was so caring and loving. She has delivered an excellent service to high quality standard. I was so pleased by her and her energy. She is the HEART of Le Jadis. Lack of hospitality with some in charge and other team - when we were leaving the restaurant and at the reception. There was a girl like a show case who greeted only my husband. Nobody asked us how was the dinner, except Renu- cheers. Thank you FNB team and those who has set up the heart shape in the sand. I will definitely come again and for this specific menu. Universal blessing to you all.
