Verta Hotel McAllen

Property was great, only issue is parking with a trailer is extremely challenging as it looks like there is a large military contract that is using the hotel and do not park well. Overall I always enjoy staying here. I enjoy the staff and location.

The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful, especially Laura. Check in was easy. The room was very clean and cozy and we felt so comfy in it, at the point we missed breakfast next day! But it was coffee in the room and the lobby as well. Definitely we will stay at this hotel next time we are in McAllen, 100% recommended.

Another great stay at this location. Staff have always been so courteous. Breakfast is great!

The pictures of this hotel looked great. The entrance was nice. The outside of the building was outdated and needs maintenance. Our room smelled musty/mold and our carpet was wet. Older model room a/c units were in our room and The humidity in the room and the hotel was very high. I was afraid we would be sick because of the smell. It was a 1 night stay and we arrived after 9 pm. We stayed because we were exhausted but would not stay again.

Breakfast was good. Hotel is clean, is going through an upgrade transition, but there was not any noise or issue, the rooms look nice, beds not very firm, the location is close to the airport, no plane noises, pool was a bit cold, staff was kind, they have a bar, the Breakfast area is huge, it wasnt crowed, price was right.

We came in to town for a family event just for the night and we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and room. Everyone was very pleasant and we would not hesitate to reserve a room here again. Close to the freeway and shopping areas. Bed was extremely comfortable!
