Cambria Hotel McAllen Convention Center

This Place is great! If you’ve never heard of the name don’t worry! BOOK IT! You won’t forget the name afterwards! Staff was kind and friendly. Place was clean! Had a bar and restaurant down stairs. 8 inch Pool for my son, plus the jacuzzi for my husband! And the beds!! FORGET IT! So comfy! I always struggle with sleep and neck pain from crappy pillows! The beds are DANGEROUS! You won’t wake up! LOL!

Mu kids and i loved absolutely everything. Not onw thing we can fomplaib of. Thank you so much. Definetely coming back to cambria hotel

The hotel is very well located and very clean. I gave it 4 stars because the blinds in the bedroom were broken and I could not open nor close. There wasn’t any drinking water in the bedroom. We had to putchase it downstairs.

The staff were amazing! Especially the male bartender. The area of this hotel is very convenient yet quiet. I think it's a perfect place for a family or even solo staying because it's nice, has a nice not overwhelming pool area with lots of tables to sit and relax, and even has a bar downstairs. The gym was great also. The only thing I didn't like was our room was very damp...we left and our clothes were damp. But once that fix that I would honestly rate it 5 stars.

Breakfast was good, but it seems that only Monday through Friday it’s served early. I tried to get breakfast on Saturday before 7am and was told that it is served at 7am. I travel frequently and other hotels start at 6 or 6:30am. Otherwise the hotel is nice. Room was great and bed comfortable.

Room ac would never cool down to what i set it at. Stayed at 74 whole night, had me tossing and turning all night. Pillows are real flat and had to stack them together to make em comfy. Only one roll of tp. Overall not bad

Ricky and Angel at the front desk were so helpful and kind. The BEST! As were the maintenance staff and housekeepers. Unfortunately, upon checkout we were presented with a room charge that did not belong to us. The young lady working the desk was unable to help, the manager was not in, and she wasn’t authorized. Five days later the manager is “still looking into it.” Other than that mishap, a nice stay.

I disagree with a policy they have , they not do (clean) the room unles you request . I disagree with a policy they have of request tickets for the buffet. most of the places that I stay include buffet as a complement

Got there around midnight and there was NO ONE at the front desk. We literally had to go looking for staff just to check in… already made me feel uneasy. After about 15 minutes of waiting, I finally went to the back and someone came out. He kept apologizing and handed me “breakfast vouchers because of the wait” like sir… I booked this hotel KNOWING breakfast was already included (or we already paid for it).
