OYO Hotel McAllen Airport South

Our room was cancelled due to not paying at time of booking and our flights being delayed. We had to upgrade to a suite since that was only thing available which costed us like $200 more . The beds were hard and one of the beds sheet were dirty with little hairs and itched us so we had to use the other bed. Housekeepers did not change sheets fix beds or anything just took towels and I had to take my own trash and dirty towels out to them. Ice machine was not working either

Stayed for a week. The room, with the air conditioning running, felt damp as if it were not removing the humidity from the air. So much so that the floor was damp. Parking was also particularly bad for the number of guests at the property. Very crowded. WiFi was VERY weak with the signal constantly buffering or dropping completely. Also, the $50 “deposit” was just petty. Would not stay here again.

Air conditioning was fine. Talked to a lady asking about wifi and didn’t really help me thought I was lying about not getting any wifi and just told me if the cable was working on the tv the wifi should work

The first time I stayed there was back in February, and for some reason they ask for cash deposit wich I think it’s fine but I forgot to ask for it that time, this month I went back to this place to stay and ask about my deposit , I was told I would get an answer the next day wich I didn’t, they wait until I left to tell me I was not getting this money back because it was been deposited to the hotel account already since I didn’t go back do it in time, I ask them why they didn’t call to let me know and they lie saying they did but the call never went through, so I ask I was just gone a lose this money and they was brave enough to say yes you are , so definitely I’m not staying here anymore I fell like if something gets lost from my room they won’t be responsible for it and this is not a place I can trust anymore

I did NOT stay. Room was dirty. Hair all in beds. Desk clerk didn’t seem surprised or concerned. Still trying to get refund.

was bit by bed bugs or some type of bugs had rashes and bites all over my back

Clean room Housekeeping came back to clean once we left Felt very comfortable and cozy

We didn't have hot water. Staff said they couldn't do anything about it
