The hotel is very close to Rawdah, about a 3-minute walk. If you want to pray inside the mosque, there's a women-only bus that's very convenient for getting to the women's entrance of the Grand Mosque.

Had a very pleasant stay at Crowne Plaza. Mahmoud Saad at reception helped us throughly in every single thing while at our stay in Crowne Plaza. He was very cooperative and made our stay memorable. Hats off to the great service provided by him.

We found the location was excellent very close walking distance to Masjid-e-Nabawi although bit further to walk to get to women’s prayer area. The hotel does offer shuttle buses for the women at each prayer time. The room itself was outdated the bathroom had a constant smell and is also outdated, our room was very cramped not much space to manoeuvre and not even a luggage rack to place suitcase. Considering its rated a 5* we did not get the 5* feel.

Very nice hotel in an excellent location close to Masjid Al Nabbawi and opposite As Safiyyah Museum and Park which has a nice souq and many places to eat. I booked a triple room which was a little smaller than ideal but was clean. The staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was good. There was also a regular shuttle bus for anyone that may have difficulties walking the short distance to the Haram.
