Hotel Medno

I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel with double room since its falsely marketed for 3 people even though it doesnt accommodate it. They are trying to sell all the rooms as for 3 people. The rooms can only accommodate 2 people maximum. When I placed my booking, I booked it because I was under the impression that the room can sleep 3 people. That's how the room was being sold via *******. I brought this issue up to the front desk in the morning the next day since I was out and about celebrating for NYE. When I got back to the room for the 1st time, it was a 2 twin beds. I was a bit disappointed about not being able to accommodate for 3 people. Apparently all rooms were booked even though it was quiet at the hotel. I told them that the room should accommodate 3 people but it wasn't to my expectation during the time of booking. They said they will have someone check out on Friday and they would reserve that room for me. I followed up with them that same evening, the next morning, and the afternoon. When I got back to the hotel after my day out, they said the room was booked and it was full again. Every time I spoke to them about the room being available for me, it felt like it was the first time they heard about it and they never acknowledged it. I felt that they kept on leading me on. I won't recommend anyone. I asked ******* to step in to resolve this matter but due to multiple failed attempts to reach the hotel, it defaulted to their cancellation policy which was no help.

Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend to a friend? No. The only reason I selected this hotel is it was inexpensive and relatively close to the airport. It was a 20 drive. Our room was horrible. It had a funky smell. I’m not sure when the last time the carpet was vacuumed. There was no shower curtain on the shower so after I showered there was water all over the bathroom floor. The shower was really gross by the way. There were no hand towels- only one small bath towel. No facial tissues- only toilet paper. There are no lifts in the hotel so you have lug your suitcases up a number of flights of stairs. There were a few positives: the AC worked well. The hotel had a nice outdoor deck with a great view. If you found my review helpful please let me know and give me a thumbs up.

Terrible and dirty Dirty carpets, dirty toilet, twin bedroom instead of double, extremely hot and light on the toilet was broken

I checked in for a few days and it looked ok at first. Had breakfast before leaving to my driving class till afternoon. Upon my return went to my room and it was turned upside down so I rushed to reception to alert them of my situation. Only to find out that they had booked another client into my room cos it’s had 2 single beds(twin room). Without alert me,asking me nor had I been told in advance that this was a possibility. So I decided to leave earlier but was slammed with a ( no refunds are given ) notice. Definitely a place I won’t be stepping foot on ever again considering the these events and the poor quality of the rooms. Shower in my room has no doors for instance and every time I shower the bathroom is soaking wet.
