Extremely satisfied with this hotel. First off, the room size, decor, amenities, design, and layout were all spot-on, though the toilet cubicle was a bit small. The service was also very comfortable and not at all forced. Every time the room was cleaned, it felt meticulously done and thoughtful, arranged according to my habits. The lobby's ambiance and the staff's service attitude were excellent. The location is also fantastic. Most places are within walking distance because public transport is quite slow here. There's a Coles supermarket directly opposite, which is super convenient for shopping, and it's open late, perfect for a late-night haul. The night views were absolutely stunning, and I even got to see a sea of clouds.

The hotel is right opposite Southern Cross Station – super convenient, especially coming from the airport via Skybus. You just get off at Southern Cross, cross the road, and you're there. There are tons of restaurants around, so finding food is a breeze. You can easily walk to all the different streets in the city, and if you get tired, there's free transport in the CBD – just hop on and off whenever you like, with a free stop right downstairs. The hotel lobby is on the 80th floor, and the hotel itself is beautiful and clean, with very attractive rooms. Everyone, from the doormen downstairs to the front desk staff, housekeeping, and restaurant team, provides service with a smile. The service was really bad. When I checked in, they told me I'd have to wait two hours and that a room wouldn't be ready until 3 PM, unless I switched to a twin room. I told them twice not to switch it to a twin room – does the front desk not understand? We're a couple, why would they give us twin beds...? Finally, we got our room in the afternoon, with no compensation, not even a welcome fruit platter. The staff's service attitude wasn't great, especially at breakfast; some of the female waitstaff looked absolutely miserable 😅. Overall, it was good, but the service was just okay. We couldn't check in early, and they said they'd email us if a room became available, but they never did. Overall, pretty good. This is the tallest hotel in the Southern Hemisphere. Eating breakfast on the 80th floor, you can overlook the entire Melbourne. The sunset night view during the 'blue hour' is especially beautiful. As for value for money, it's decent.

I stayed here for three nights in Melbourne. There's a tram stop right outside (though it was closed for roadworks, sadly). It's also super close to the SkyBus drop-off point from the airport to the city, only a six or seven-minute walk, so it was really convenient – I just bought a round-trip ticket. There are also lots of familiar eateries nearby, like Pepper Lunch (so good, why did it close in Beijing?!) and Gong Cha (so happy to find Gong Cha overseas!). The room was quite spacious, and the view was nice too. The bathtub was a bit long for me, and there's a separate walk-in closet with a vanity table.

The location is fantastic! After exploring all day, it was so easy to just walk back to the hotel. I absolutely loved the croissant bakery downstairs; having a pastry and coffee there with my child every morning before heading out was such a treat. The hotel's environment and cleanliness are excellent. The lobby on the ground floor is beautiful, and the room views are even better. The pool is stunning, especially at sunset!
