Ibis Melbourne Hotel and Apartments Reviews

The hotel feels a bit dated, but its location is incredibly convenient. It was great to be able to catch a day tour to the Twelve Apostles right from here. There are plenty of convenience stores and Asian supermarkets nearby, and a short walk takes you to Melbourne Central, where you can find TamJai (a popular noodle restaurant). There's also a Chinese restaurant nearby called Rose Garden, which has a very 'wok hei' flavor and seems to be a local favorite, even if its signboard looks a bit old-fashioned.

This hotel was an absolutely wonderful place to stay during our trip. The location is incredibly convenient for getting around the city. It is situated just a short walk away from the nearest tram station. From the moment we walked in, the overall cleanliness was truly impressive. Our room was completely spotless and meticulously maintained every single day. Furthermore, the hotel staff provided excellent service from check-in to check-out. Every employee we interacted with was genuinely welcoming, polite, and eager to help. We also greatly appreciated the ability to leave our luggage safely at the reception. This convenient luggage storage gave us the freedom to explore without carrying heavy bags on our last day. Finally, the beautiful view from our window made the entire experience absolutely perfect.

This accommodation boasts a superb location with convenient transport links and a full range of nearby amenities. It offers an elegant setting and a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for both business trips and leisure getaways. The room is spacious and bright, featuring a modern, minimalist design with tasteful details that truly made me feel at home. The staff's service was exceptionally warm and professional, leaving me feeling very comfortable and well-cared for, truly experiencing a home away from home. 🇦🇺🏨

The rooms and appliances are quite old and could use some updating. Bedding also old… I stayed for two nights with breakfast included. The breakfast was good and offered a nice variety of options. One major downside was the on-site parking, which cost $40 per day. I had to pay an additional $80 for parking during my two-night stay.  Overall, I paid $890 for two nights Without parking and considering the condition of the room and the additional parking cost, I don’t feel the stay was worth the price. But staff are very friendly.

Overall, it was pretty good, mainly because this was our pickup point for the Great Ocean Road tour on the second day. I requested a high floor, but they gave me the lowest one. Since it was only for one night, I didn't mind too much. The location seems great; there are many places to eat brunch nearby. The bedding was also decent, and I slept very soundly. There are quite a few Chinese tour groups here, so I wonder why there isn't a Chinese staff member at the front desk?

The location is good, with many shops nearby and close to the city center. Victoria Market is also within walking distance. The room is a bit old, and the bathroom doesn't have a handheld shower. Breakfast is decent. It's about a 30-minute drive from the airport, costing around AUD $50-60.

Very kind staff and a clean room for cheaper price. Easy to reach from city. Near the Queen Victoria Market so you can check it out. Lots of eateries and cafes around here.

Booked a family suite with two rooms, perfect for a large family. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is located right in the city center. Breakfast is a simple continental style. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets close by.

The accommodation cost was reasonable and affordable. The water pressure in the shower was weak, but I guess that's normal for overseas hotels. 😅 I really liked that the hairdryer was powerful. I was overcharged for the deposit, but when I inquired at the front desk the next day, the manager immediately processed the refund. It was a bit scary, and it's also my fault for not being able to speak English well.

Great location, just few hundred metres away from Queen Victoria Market, which u may find almost everything there. We can just walk around or travel with free tram to most of the tourist spot in town. Daily room service available with basic amenities. Only fridge, microwave and basic dinnerware available in the apartment. But anyway it’s really value for money.

The place is spacious and tidy, but unfortunately, the kitchen only has a microwave. There are no cooking utensils or cleaning supplies like dish soap, which significantly reduces its convenience. The washing machine also has a bit of an odor.

Upon entering, there was an unpleasant odor from both the kitchen and the bathroom. I suggest the hotel replace the shower curtain. The location is quite convenient; if you're taking a day tour, there's a chance you can arrange pickup and drop-off right at the hotel entrance. The Chinese restaurants near the hotel are open late, and it's close to Queen Victoria Market, which is nice.

The price is cheap, comparable to domestic guesthouses. The location is decent, good for those who are out early and back late. Many day tour bus stops are nearby, which is very convenient for day trips around Melbourne.

Good value for money hotel. Breakfasts are good, tasty, and varied. The rooms have everything you need. The staff is friendly.
