Very prime location, within about 10-15 minutes walk to key CBD attractions. Cleanliness can be a bit inconsistent as some housekeepers tidy up more properly than others on other days.. Receptionists are helpful.

This place is outside of the free tram zone so remember to get the Myki card to take the trams. The best part was the indoor pool because it’s so cold outside. We all went in for a dip into the heated pool first, then went for a few lap swims, then back into the heated pool to end the night. There are convenience stores nearby but we’d recommend to head to the nearby supermarket instead to grab snacks and drinks that are way cheaper.

The location is good, near to QVM and also within walking distance to Melbourne Central and Emporium Melbourne. The housekeeping staff service was average as they didn’t bother to top up the beverages or toiletries daily despite us having 4 pax staying in the 2 bedroom apartment for 6 days, we need to ration the usage to ensure we have sufficient for the next day, they only did so after we clarified with the front desk that we are entitled to these items and there is no restriction on the quantity per room per stay. They also didn’t clear the room as the previous customer’s items were still left inside the fridge when we checked in. The front desk staff also treated customers differently, with Caucasian given a late checkout when requested. When we asked them for late checkout, we were rejected outright. They only agreed when we tried asking on the last night and after giving them so many negative feedback during the stay.

The room was very spacious, and it even had kitchen facilities, plus a large bed, making it perfect for a couple's trip. My only minor complaint is that the shower stall felt a bit small, and the shower head was fixed, so it couldn't be adjusted up or down, which was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel is located near by Queen Victoria Market and also walkable distance to CBD. Got many shops near by the hotel. Very convenient located.

I brought my mom to Melbourne, and we specifically requested a quiet room away from the elevator. Instead, we were given a room directly facing it. The process of changing rooms was quite difficult, and after we finally moved, my mom and I started getting rashes on our faces. We later discovered the pillows were incredibly dirty. The new room was also very noisy. The showerhead and air conditioning made a high-pitched sound, like an old train whistle, whenever they were used. I had booked for six days, and getting a refund from hotels abroad is usually very hard, so we just had to endure it for the entire six days. However, Trip.com's response was quite good; they were very prompt in helping to coordinate and resolve the issues.
