Just off the Camino do use Google maps do you don’t miss it. Excellent staff. 5 star breakfast . Everything you could want, cereals, fruit, pastry, egg, meat, cheese, jam, yoghurt, chilled water, juice and hot drinks. Rooms clean and good. Walls thin . Evening meal oily but nicely presented

Very welcoming nice friendly staff. Prob the best the dinner and breakfast on the whole of our Camino experience. The dinner was €15 we had Callos with chickpeas/ Osso Buko/desert and wine. Nothing was any trouble. Very attentive waitress. Breakfast was amazing eggs bacon cold cuts cheese jams breads cereals yogurt pastries juices tea and coffee There was also a laundrette €4 for wash €3 for drying. Would defo recommend this place to stay in Melide.

The outskirts of Melide look a little grim on first arrival but the Hotel Carlos was warm and comfortable. There was a lovely welcome and a nice bar and cafe area. It would have been better if food was served a little earlier but it was good and plentiful. The breakfast the following morning was wonderful, with lots of fresh fruit. I wish we had taken the option of breakfast to go as it would have kept us going all day!

While walking the Camino de Santiago, friends and I stopped for a night at the Hotel Carlos 96. It was a highlight of all the places we stayed on our journey! Luis and staff were exceptional-laundry facilities easily accessible, great food, a fully stocked bar. My best meal on the Camino was here! Rooms were reasonably priced and clean with a very welcoming staff. Highly recommended and I hope I can return some day!

The hotel is located on the other end of town away from the Camino. It is still not far since3 the town is so small. The rooms are large but all come out in a group area near the elevator so it can be a little noisy as people come off the elevator. Dinner was good with a set menu. Breakfast had lots of different choices and it was self serve. Great choice for the camino travelers

Not overly impressive. It's a budget hotel, and that has to be taken into consideration. English is also spoken here which is a big help. Rooms clean. Hotel is situated a bit out of the main town, on the outskirts. Food disappointing. I probably would avoid returning.

Amazing hotel. Everything starts with service and it was outstanding. We got room early, staff is super friendly and speaks English. Very good restaurant on the site. Room is beautiful with the cute balcony. Location is so easy for these who takes el Camino. Highly recommend!

Friendly, bilingual, comfortable, clean and good food. I love this hotel. I don’t know what else to type. I travel a lot and, even if I wasn’t on the Camino, if I had to come back to Galicia and needed a hotel in a town I would choose this one. Thanks guys!

The hotel was easy to find after our walk on the Camino. Staff were very pleasant and made us most welcome. The room was very large - a refreshing change after previous small rooms where finding space for our suitcases proved a challenge - clean and lots of towels. Dinner was delicious. We are coeliacs and the hotel staff were terrific. Best breakfast in a while. Wifi excellent.
