The location is great and convenient to all the downtown happenings. The hotel staff were rude, unhelpful and to top it all off the air conditioning was out our entire stay. I asked to be moved to a different room to which the answer was no. Asked do they have fans for situations like this they said no. PLUS they charge my card twice for the room

The hotel is located on the Mississippi River in downtown Memphis. You can walk a few steps from the door to the bridge to the island, and it takes only ten minutes to walk to Beale Street. The Sheraton building is quite conspicuous and can be seen from a distance, so you don't have to worry about getting lost when you go out. The room is clean and tidy, and you can enjoy the river view and the pyramids by the large glass window.

This hotel is old and has no advantages except that it is close to the exhibition center.

Lobby and lobby restaurant/bar was very cold at all times, although it was during unusual snow/ice storm. Restaurant/bar opened too late when there were no nearby food options due to weather. My heat in room didnt work. But nice hotel otherwise and would stay again.

Room was clean. Management did not ensure the heat was working in 16 degree weather and a snowstorm. Lobby and dining room was not heated either

The room was very dated; the lampshade had a large slash through it. It felt neglected. The hallways were freezing and we had to eat breakfast wearing winter coats and hats. The wifi was so poor we couldn't check work emails or do homework. Front desk sent us "a few blocks away" to a Starbucks that was actually a 15 minute walk in the snow and sleet.

The staff was great.. my room was okay being a corner room, but it needs serious remodeling and upgrading. There was paint peeling from the ceiling, the chairs needed to be thrown away they were so worn out, and the carpet was stained in certain areas.

No complimentary breakfast. Tuns of hidden fees. Over charged on room. The beds were comfortable. Not enough room in drawers to place clothes if have an extended stay. Bathroom shower head was spraying water. Noticed they tried to fix with plumbers tape. Will not stay at a Sheraton again.
