The suite is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping and replenishment of amenities were timely every day. The front desk service was excellent, and the butler responded promptly. Even though the resort is large and some facilities show their age, I still believe the brand has maintained its standards; I didn't feel any significant cost-cutting. Plus, for 1599, you get three nights with dinner and hot springs. If there's any problem, it's my fault for not booking more nights! (This last phrase is a humorous way to say the deal was so good, any issues are minor in comparison).

Five-star rating, highly recommend! As soon as I arrived, the front desk staff warmly greeted me, and check-in was efficient and smooth. They patiently answered all my questions, which made me feel very welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the environment was quiet. Overall, my stay was excellent, and I'll definitely prioritize choosing this hotel for my next trip.

After two days of exploring Xishuangbanna, we came to Angsana for a hot spring retreat, and it was absolutely worth it! The public hot springs at Angsana are excellent as always, with all outdoor pools, each with its own theme. The private villa with a hot spring offers fantastic value for money, featuring both front and back yards. The service was also incredibly warm and prompt, with our butler always responsive. From the room decor and size to the level of service, everything was top-notch. This was definitely the most worthwhile stop of our entire trip!

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The hygiene and service were both top-notch. My child could spend an entire day playing here, with both indoor and outdoor pools, plus hot springs. The whole resort is massive, like a natural oxygen bar. The hotel provides shuttle services to get everywhere, and they even gave us a souvenir when we checked out.

Located in Mengbala Resort, it's very close to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Village. However, you'll need a car to get to nearby attractions, and it's about a 10-minute drive to Menghai County.

My stay at Angsana Hot Springs Resort was excellent, and I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk staff! Upon arrival, everyone at the front desk greeted us with a smile. The check-in process was efficient and smooth, with no unnecessary waiting. Their demeanor was both gentle and professional. I had many questions regarding the hot spring opening hours, resort tour routes, and local dining options, and the staff patiently and meticulously explained everything, even proactively offering us complimentary hot spring vouchers. The hotel environment is tranquil and elegant, with beautifully landscaped gardens. The natural hot springs offer a wide variety of pools, and the private forest hot tubs provide ample privacy. The spring water felt warm and nourishing on my skin; after a soak, my entire body felt relaxed and refreshed. The guest room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the amenities were comprehensive. The welcome fruit was fresh and plentiful. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was delightful and incredibly relaxing, a perfect escape from the city hustle. It’s suitable for both couples and family vacations, offering great value for money. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family, and I'll definitely choose Angsana again for my next vacation!

If you compare this to a Banyan Tree, your expectations are too high. But if you're just looking for a regular hotel for a quick stay, then you've got the right idea. I drove myself here, and when I pulled up to the entrance, the bellboy was standing there looking at his fingernails for a full minute, completely ignoring me. Even a basic motel has someone greet you. I got out and asked him, 'Is this Angsana?' He said yes. And that was it. I then doubtfully asked him what his job was, and he said, 'To escort guests into the hotel!' He just stood there the whole time; I'd ask, and he'd answer. He made no move to help me with my luggage and even told me, 'You can't park here' – a definite thumbs down! After checking in, the front desk mentioned the hotel had handicraft activities and that someone would call me to schedule a time. The girl who called, though, spoke so unclearly, stammering and speaking so softly that I had to strain to understand what she was saying. The room was small, and so was the balcony. Fine, I don't mind; the price reflects that, and I wasn't willing to upgrade to a suite. There were no welcome fruits either. The next day, I went for the handicraft activity, and the front desk staff said it was at the spa, which meant driving there. It was that same bellboy again, who asked me mid-way, 'Is it here?' I rolled my eyes 🙄, 'You're asking me?' When we got to the spa, he told me that the handicraft activity wasn't there; it was inside the hotel! What?! I'm left wondering if this hotel just opened yesterday! Aren't handicraft activities a daily thing? How could the front desk get it wrong? After driving around for half an hour, it was scorching hot. Annoying, right? Or were my expectations just too high for them? Now for the good parts: you can enjoy the hot springs here, and the environment is beautiful – truly up to Banyan Tree standards. BUT! Don't go too late at night; there are too many mosquitoes! Regarding service: Vivian and Yumi actively helped me resolve issues, and I saw their sincerity. Another older bell staff member was very experienced; interacting with guests requires warmth, and it seems the young bellboy was put on duty without training – he's not suited for a front-facing role; it really brings down the overall experience. P.S. The afternoon tea was excellent, truly on point.

Thanks to Yumi's professional and thoughtful service, I had a wonderful experience. The rice noodles made by the auntie were also fantastic, something I looked forward to every morning.

I spontaneously drove to Menghai, and unexpectedly, I ended up staying at my favorite hotel of the entire trip – it far exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The hotel's public areas have a real resort feel, which I think is quite unique for Xishuangbanna. It's a quiet retreat, and the hot spring experience was excellent. Even though it's the off-season, it has a distinct charm. I will definitely be back next time!

Although it's officially a 4-star, it pretty much meets 5-star standards. When I stayed, it was practically empty, so they upgraded me directly to the best king-size room. Even though I'm not a member, I still received complimentary welcome fruit. Facilities: Most things were okay, but because it's so remote, the occupancy rate is likely low, so the maintenance is pretty average. The outdoor pool is beautiful, but the indoor gym and pool are just so-so. The hotel is located in a local resort area and even has hot springs to visit, which was quite a pleasant surprise. Dining: The food was relatively good, comparable to other 5-star hotels in Xishuangbanna. However, some dishes clearly fell a bit short, but I could accept it since I knew it wasn't a true 5-star to begin with.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel, highly recommend it for travelers with a car. The hotel is located in a resort area, and the environment is what impressed me the most—it's very relaxing here! 👍

As a major brand hotel, the hygiene, service, and environment are all trustworthy. It's located right in the heart of Mengbalan, next to the Love Manor. During my stay, it happened to be the Water Splashing Festival, and I got to experience releasing Kongming lanterns, dragon boat racing, setting river lanterns afloat, and attending a market fair. The activities for the Dai New Year were absolutely fantastic!

My stay was incredibly pleasant. The front desk staff were attentive and kind. The room was spotless, bright, and impeccably clean, with great attention to detail. The hotel grounds were tranquil and elegant, with lush greenery and beautiful scenery, making for a quiet and wonderful vacation.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, especially since I booked a package deal during the Double 11 sale, which made it incredibly good value for money. To have such a high-value experience in Xishuangbanna during Chinese New Year was truly excellent. The hotel did a great job utilizing the resort's advantages by organizing a wide array of activities. Furthermore, you can see the unique attention to detail in aspects like the corridor lighting at night and the placement of switches. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.
