The toilets when flushed smell like raw sewage as it uses groundwater it is disgusting. Although the town was lovely the caravan park was run down and basically a dump. They told us that the pool was being renovated however no one was there working on it and it wasn’t under construction or anything so we believe that they take no pride in the maintenance of their park. My family and i agreed that if we ever come back to esperance we should never ever come back to this dump they call a caravan park.

We were looking for a place to stay on a long weekend. Due to a lot of people in Esperance for the horse race we had to end up taking our tent. The showers were nice and hot and toilets clean. The park was close to town and not far from Lucky Bay a great place to visit.

Had power go out two nights in a row. Rubbish not collected during weekend. No dump point. Told there was no code or key required for amenities. Oops locked until 7.30am laundry 3 machines one dryer. Plus a disgusting out of order toilet covered with a piece of wood. Nasty. Now park is not very well maintained. Explains why it was the only park In Esperance that had available spaces

Stayed in powered on-site site. Shower water ran out of door and drainage drain flooded onto grass area. Toilet didn't flush one morning. No light globes inside out side the ensuite. Floor on an angle. Owner very kindly tried to fix the problems but this ensuite needs demolishing. Another 2 guests arrived at 1.30am with a reversing beeper on the campervan that woke the camp. Then proceeded to turn the vehicle at 7am to change positions. Only advantage to caravan park was a great place to discover the Esperance area. Would suggest more maintenance on the property. Replace the ensuite we stayed in.

I've stayed here several times over the past few years and it's been OK but not great. However on this visit, there is now a new management team in place and I can see the improvements and increased maintenance activity. We had 2 cars, a caravan and a trailer but were slotted into a large site for the price of a single - which from experience isn't always the case. If you're looking for grass, a good shower and a no fuss stop over before heading out to the east, I 'd recommend this park as a good base for the Esperance region. I hope the new management team continues the general improvement and wish them well.

There are two types of accommodation offerings in this world ... The first is a well maintained establishment, the other is a forgotten hovel, and I'm afraid this venue is very much the latter. Whilst the owners/management seem friendly and welcoming, unfortunately the premises have been let go. They are in critical need of a major upgrade, a thorough cleaning, a new roadway and the development of a regular maintenance schedule. It's fine to get defensive and just say that times have been tough through the COVID lockdowns, but that's no excuse to lose pride in such an investment. A bag of nails, a tin of paint and a couple of cleaning cloths wouldn't brake the bank. Do yourself a favour ... If all of the other accommodation choices in town are booked, just keep driving.

Best wishes to the new caretakers who are super friendly and welcoming. The park needs a general tidy up but we appreciated the pool, clean BBQs and nice hot water in the showers. The park is a little out of the way but has plenty of space and potential.

We read the older reviews and were close to canceling. Thank God we didn’t. Ignore the historical reviews, the accomodation (we stayed in a chalet) was great - clean, larger than expected and well equipped. The staff go 110% (even offered to drive me to the airport when the taxi was late). A nice place with a great vibe. The only criticism I have is that there is not a lot of play equipment for kids (we had six with us) but they do have a great pool - large enough for our lot and others to swim at the same time. If u are looking for glamping this is not the place for you. But as a base for a beach holiday it is great. Would happily stay again

The camp ground is situated a few km out of the town centre. The thing a liked about this camp ground was the grassy sites with plenty of mature trees providing natural shade. You don't feel like you're camping in a car park. There are also a number of cottages on site available for hire. The facilities are a little dated, but are well maintained and clean. The down side is that it is located on a busy road so there is some traffic noise.
