Check in was super easy. Very handy to where we needed to be. The room was toasty warm. Super comfy bed. Breakfast was incredible. Definitely want to stay again.

The breakfast was nothing. The room I booked was okay. The equipment was OK but a bit old. The environment was convenient. The front desk staff were nothing overly welcoming but ok.

The location is very convenient. There are not many kinds of breakfast, but it is still filling. There is Shin Ramen.

Very spacious clean and great room with awesome friendly staff absolutely loved my stay and will definitely be staying there again thanks so much to the staff for being amazing

A great place to stay me and my wife stayed here as our son is starting uni staff very helpful restaurant was great room was very nice clean and smelled lovely. And very well priced for your hard earned money . will recommend and stay here again in a heart beat and they have a spa which works as well. a great spot thank you all so much .

Pavilions is on a busy street but our rooms were quiet. Convenient walking distance to pubs/restaurants. Great dinner at Jimmy’s. Fascinating venue; great food & drink. Our room had a table & ashtray outside the bedroom window so we had to contend with smokers outside our room- had to shut all the windows. Hooks on back of bathroom door to hang towels needed. Frosted glass or louvres in bathroom needed due to proximity to main road. Prompt attention from room service was appreciated re: fresh towels etc. One of our two couches/ sofa beds was broken when we arrived. Amiable and courteous staff.

Parking would be the only (minor!) issue. It appeared to be quite busy, so parking outside the room wasn't always available. Having mentioned that, parking was available at various locations in and around the hotel so never had to walk more than 30 seconds to the room.

I live on the West Coast and always stay at Pavillions when we go over the hill to Christchurch. It is consistently good, lots of rooms and ample parking. The parking is secure, with gates on the back of the property which are securely locked at night. Very handy to everything in Christchurch, great restaurant, just an overall good hotel.

The hotel room we had was clean and very spacious. We overall liked the hotel, except guests can smoke outside of their room in the property. We had a few men who smoked cigarettes all the time below our room. So that was not pleasant at all. I told the hotel staff. They said they did not reinforce no smoking in the property so guests were allowed to smoke in the balcony. Another issue is parking. Although they provide onsite free parking. So people have huge pickup trucks that made impossible to park. That needs more regulation as well. The hotel is about 30 minutes on food to the town center.

Room was excellent. Pool and spa area was great. Close to town and shops. Definitely recommend.

Check-in was a breeze and front desk team was really friendly. Convenient location for a work trip, walkable to nearby supermarket (about 800 m away) and fast food just around the corner when the restaurant is closed for the night.

Another lovely stay while in Christchurch for business. Convenient location with a great restaurant and free parking. Nice rooms and friendly staff

Very noisy, and property was patchy. Ie blocked up door to next room that let through a lot of noise keeping us up. Pipes rattled when neighbours used water. Cheap junky faucets and fittings in shower. Cars parked everywhere. Spa was good

The service from the staff were excellent. There was a dirty sock on the floor next to the bed. I handed it in at reception.
