Fairfield Inn & Suites Merrillville

The rooms were small, especially the bathroom. We had a half of a sink. The bed wasn’t comfortable. Nets biting all night. I use a gift card to pay, the room could have been a little better. People were knocking on our door waking us up.

The breakfast was so good it filled me up and saved me over twenty dollars not having to go through a drive through. So good👍

I mean, I slept and had something for breakfast. So I can't complain, but the entire property is in poor condition. I have no idea how it got the good reviews that others must've left, and which were the reason I reserved a room here.

The hotel was okay. The bed and bathroom were clean. The carpet in the room was wet. The nice employee at the desk would have given us a partial refund, but we booked it through a third party, so they couldn't. The breakfast was good, and it had a nice fitness room.

Room was very dirty. Used the sleeper sofa and it was full of crumbs and dirt. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

Putsdie was run down went to check in Lady at front desk was rude and we have no rooms avaliable i said i have a reservation and still got rude didnt explain why just said we have nothing avaliable for you its going to be about another 45 mins witch i came in about 310pm . Beds were not comfortable they didnt clean properly leftover food in refrigerator smelled soo bad the noises from the highway was soo loud. But at least the sheets an blankets were clean. Definitely will not be staying here again..

Torn up parking lot. Both doors to the building didn’t work, had to slide manually open/closed. The breakfast staff were OUTSTANDING. Breakfast was very good.

The Hotel staff was amazing from when I checked in till I left every shift Curly hair, Red hair, and my exit lady she knows who it is. Facilities Team was so polite and warming I loved my stay. Thank you.

I did not feel that this location upheld the standards of a Marriott flagged hotel. The hotel was dated - seams in the carpet pulling apart, peeling wallpaper, broken couch in my room, and a shower that did not have proper water pressure. The hotel is very close to the interstate, which is both convenient and also produces loud traffic noise at night. I will be looking for different accommodations when i come to Merrillville for my next trip.
