I would recommend staying at this hotel. I didn't give it 5 star rating only cause of a few small things and I am a tough rater, but it was nothing that would deter me from staying there again. I was looking for a place that would be close by my sister's new house and this was only several mins away by freeways and didn't charge for parking. It had several good restaurants close by if you didn't want to cook in the room. It has been recently renovated and the rooms were really nice. My only issue in the room was that the toilet kept running throughout the night off and on and adjusting the toilet handle didn't really work. I didn't notice it till I had shut off the TV and was about to go to bed. The saving grace for not having to deal with maintenance at 11 pm at night was that the bathroom fan was a low hum and I turned it on to drown out when the toilet would fill for a quick several seconds. The room was spacious and I loved that the TV was a nice decent size when viewing from the bed. I didn't have a chance to sit on the couch, but it seemed like a decent size TV from the couch and the couch was brand new and was comfortable, but firm. The only other slightly annoying thing was that the TV remote wasn't easy to push the buttons to flip the channels or adjust the menu. The menu was a good selection for breakfast. My only suggestion is in regards to they have only one waffle maker to make your own waffles. I did like that they gave you premade waffle batch cups to use and they did make really tasty waffles. I stayed at Towne Place Suites this last summer and I loved what they did with their waffles. They had premade Belgian sugar pearl waffles that had come in packages (saw an attendant put them out) and put them in a warmer so there was never really a line to wait for making waffles and the waffles were DELICIOUS. For breakfast, they had a lot of stuff to chose from. They had a cold buffet to chose watermelon, grapes and strawberries, different cheeses and then yogurt, toppings. They had bagels, english muffin, bread, muffins & then they also had oatmeal, bacon, scrambled eggs, egg patties to make egg sandwiches. For the waffle toppings, they had caramel, raspberries, whipped cream and cocoa powder. There are a lot of tables and places to eat and if it is nice out, is right next to the patio with also a good amount of outdoor seating. There is also a grill for guests to use in the patio/pool area. Overall, I liked the location being right off the freeway and that the rooms were not that far off the elevators and don't have to walk down long hallways. The newly decorated rooms and facility were very nice and I have a feeling I will stay at this hotel if we need to stay near my sister's house if there are too many of us there.
