We stayed in Master Suite 2. The good: -It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and was overall very clean. The location was stellar - very walkable to a lot of galleries, restaurants, food trucks, etc. -The breakfast, as others have shared, was lovely. Eggs or more protein would have been a bonus, but the pastries and fruit were nice. -Our shower had hot water and great pressure. The tub had hot water, but it did smell a little (Mexico water, not their fault). -The art and decor are very homey and fun. -The rooftop spaces were a nice escape as well - we were surprised to be the only ones up there using it one night! The mehs: - We didn't see the staff much during our stay --- one or two hellos during breakfast or when we returned, but no one ever knew our name or attempted to create a connection. Perhaps that's on us for not initiating conversation, but for this price point, I would expect more personal touches and thoughtfulness. The bad: Unfortunately, the worst part of our stay was the constant noise at night. While they do have quiet hours from 10 p.m. - 6 a.m., people were constantly going up and down the old, creaky stairs. I think our room was just in the worst possible location, and the noise woke us up every night of our stay. (Footsteps, creaking stairs, voices in the hall, random bangs or things being dropped/falling upstairs and downstairs). We turned on our A/C and our own white noise on our phones to try to drown out the noises, but it didn't always work. This was our vacation and we were looking forward to uninterrupted sleep, so this was a major bummer for us. We would not stay again and we would not recommend staying unless you're able to secure the highest floor of the building.
