This place was so beautiful and charming. In the perfect location for us. Right above the amazing Rosetta bakery with the best restaurants, bars, coffee shops and boutiques within walking distance. What made the experience the best was the staff. They were incredibly kind, attentive, responsive, and truly made us feel like we were at a home away from home. The rooms are a nice size, very clean with simple boho aesthetics that automatically evoked comfort. Would absolutely stay here again!

Do not hesitate to try this boutique hotel. Understated elegance and complete comfort. The staff were outstanding-- available and unobtrusive. Fluent in English, they provided guidance and booked reservations as we needed. Location is convenient and safe. We wanted to stay longer-- and will definitely return.

Casa Izeba was absolutely incredible and one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, with the kindest and most thoughtful employees who truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The hotel itself is stunning and filled with beautiful art that made every space feel warm and unique. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with delicious offerings from Panadería Rosetta. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wine, beer, and snacks that were offered every time we returned to the hotel. It felt incredibly welcoming and generous. Traveling with children, we were especially touched by the thoughtful details. Coloring books and colored pencils were left in the room for our two kids, which thrilled them. The staff was also fantastic with restaurant recommendations and helped us discover amazing spots we might not have found on our own. The location in Roma Norte is perfect. It is walkable, vibrant, and close to everything. We loved everything about Casa Izeba and cannot recommend it highly enough. We would definitely stay here again and encourage anyone visiting Mexico City to do the same.

We stayed in Master Suite 2. The good: -It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and was overall very clean. The location was stellar - very walkable to a lot of galleries, restaurants, food trucks, etc. -The breakfast, as others have shared, was lovely. Eggs or more protein would have been a bonus, but the pastries and fruit were nice. -Our shower had hot water and great pressure. The tub had hot water, but it did smell a little (Mexico water, not their fault). -The art and decor are very homey and fun. -The rooftop spaces were a nice escape as well - we were surprised to be the only ones up there using it one night! The mehs: - We didn't see the staff much during our stay --- one or two hellos during breakfast or when we returned, but no one ever knew our name or attempted to create a connection. Perhaps that's on us for not initiating conversation, but for this price point, I would expect more personal touches and thoughtfulness. The bad: Unfortunately, the worst part of our stay was the constant noise at night. While they do have quiet hours from 10 p.m. - 6 a.m., people were constantly going up and down the old, creaky stairs. I think our room was just in the worst possible location, and the noise woke us up every night of our stay. (Footsteps, creaking stairs, voices in the hall, random bangs or things being dropped/falling upstairs and downstairs). We turned on our A/C and our own white noise on our phones to try to drown out the noises, but it didn't always work. This was our vacation and we were looking forward to uninterrupted sleep, so this was a major bummer for us. We would not stay again and we would not recommend staying unless you're able to secure the highest floor of the building.

I want to gate keep this hotel but really want the owners to expand and be more successful. Solo female traveler. Stayed for 2 nights. I cannot emphasize the level of great service and personalization that the team had provided. The details that you can find in the interior and the rooms of the hotel. The hotel definitely exceeded in the cleanliness, aesthetic, and the vibe check. Now onto the boring part of the review, hotel is located in a safe neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, shops, and markets. I am looking forward to my next trip back to CDMX and will most definitely be a repeat guest. Thank you again so much to the Casa Izeba team for making me feel like I’m at home.

Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Will recommend to Mexico City travelers. The staff was so kind, accommodating, friendly, we felt welcomed and at home. The property is gorgeous and spotless. The breakfast was perfect, and a bonus that we didn’t need to wait in the bakery line for Rosetta pastry and breads. Staff offered us snacks and drinks all throughout the day and greeted us each time we returned from an outing. The neighborhood is adorable and close to the park, and dining options are unlimited. Nice grocery very close by. Can’t wait to come back.

Lovely experience. Casa Izeba is in an old home and it feels like you are a guest from the moment that you arrive. I also had a massage in my room which was excellent. Highly recommend.

The Casa Izeba was exceptional on all fronts — beautiful building with large, comfortable rooms and lovely public areas, wonderfully warm and helpful staff and the perfect location! There are so many great restaurants and boutiques close nearby. It’s delightful walking around the neighborhood and seeing the incredible architecture. The final touch is the divine pastries from Rosetta bakery for breakfast! We are already trying to figure out when we can return (with our friends and family).
