Angler's Hotel - Miami Beach

！！！We did NOT consume anything from the mini-bar, yet we were CHARGED $44 for a tequila from deposit. This is completely unacceptable and an unfair charge. Be extremely careful if you stay here, the housekeeping staff are dishonest and will falsely accuse you of using the mini-bar just to scam your money. Total rip-off! 千萬別住！簡直是詐騙！氣死 我们完全没有碰 mini-bar 的任何东西，竟然被平白无故收了 44 美元的龙舌兰酒费。这完全无法接受，根本是敲诈。如果入住请务必小心，这家的房务员手脚很不干净，会乱栽赃你消费 mini-bar 来骗钱。差劲透顶！ 佢認真呃錢，香港人唔好黎cls

Clean, room, amazing staff very accommodating and the hotel is in close proximity to everything you will ever need.

I’ve been coming to this hotel 1-2 times per year for years. IHG recently sold it to another company so stay history has been wiped out. Not much has changed. Free wine from 4-5 pm is gone but the cards on the door saying you are ready to have your room cleaned are back which is super helpful. Two beach chairs included and electric assist bikes (max 2 hours per day free) included with resort fee. Pool staff are well organized and quick to address any issues. More of an adults hotel than the one across the way (the Goodtime).

The room was very clean, you get towels in your room inside the closet. You get access to beach chairs on the beach but no umbrella. It is a couple (2 blocks away from the beach)

The room was very beautiful. I enjoyed my stay and my time in the hot tub. The food places located on the main street was a variety of great choices. I will return again..!

My check-in experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I arrived on Friday during the Formula 1 weekend, when Miami was very busy. Despite having a confirmed and fully paid reservation, the hotel informed me upon arrival that they had no room available. They claimed this was due to a transition from Kimpton, saying reservations made before March were not valid. This explanation is very hard to believe, especially since neither the hotel nor platform contacted us in advance. After long discussions, they suggested moving us to another hotel at our own expense. However, due to the event, no rooms were available anywhere. We asked to speak with a manager but were told they were in a meeting. We insisted the situation was unacceptable and requested written confirmation. After nearly two hours of waiting and making it clear we would not leave, we were suddenly told a room was available. This made the situation feel dishonest, as if rooms were being held to resell at higher prices. I have traveled extensively and never experienced anything like this. I believe others should be aware.

The room I had 401 was like a studio apartment, which was great b/c it was roomy... however it did have a musty/moldy smell that was pretty noticeable... I didn't receive any VIP welcome gift or room upgrade that I'm aware of... and I was charged an extra $50/night "resort fee" for what I also have no idea... I was there for work, so maybe it was for pool or beach... but annoying.. lastly the restaurant wouldn't let me charge food to my room... I would have bought more there for the ease of it going on my room but if I have to pull out my cc everytime, I just went elsewhere...

Very great place to stay ! Room was beautiful! Staff was great and it was only a 3 minute walk to the beach !!
