Kimpton SURFCOMBER HOTEL by IHG

The location was the only thing that really stood out as a positive. The hotel is beyond due for renovation work. Our room was beat up, dirty, noisy with paper thin walls, limited use of facilities due to a Conferance that had everything reserved. Also note this is not “oceanfront” it is a hike to the beach going past the hotel and restroom facilities, across a bike/walking path and down another walking trail. For the condition it is in the price should be one fourth what it was. I wish I could attach photos to show the neglect and tattered condition of everything even the towels were stained and torn.

Poolside seating was great , I didn’t have a beach view but I didn’t choose one being that it was cheapest and I wasn’t in the room A lot . Overall the food was great and I had a great time .

Bathroom could have been more cleaner. Hotel rooms are dated. Had to take the stairs 1 level up without any help. My refrigerator stopped working and the replacement was too big to fit in its place so it was onscreen outside near the bed l. Room was dark and gloomy no sunlight able to come in because it was facing another building.

I having been going to this hotel for the last 10 years. The customer service is fantastic and the location is excellent! My family grew up over the years, swimming in the pool and eventually sharing a drink with us. There has been a recent renovation to the outdoor bar area, and it’s a great place to take a break from the sun and have a drink and lunch!! Can’t wait to go again.

Good service, beautiful pool area, great food. However did did not receive turndown service one day out of 3 night stay despite asking.

There was an edm music fest and our pool wasn’t available to us for 4 out of the 7 days. We were allowed to use pool next door which was fine

The staff is phenomenal, from the front desk to the staff on the beach, but the rooms are very outdated. The closet has a musty curtain instead of a sliding door and the washroom door looks like it’s from the 70s. The room always smells musty

Loved our stay in Miami Beach. Hotel has a great pool and beach access. Great location for shopping and dining!

Clean room and helpful staff and beach was nice! The bartender who made my morning green drink and tea was awesome
