Superb from start to finish. Immaculate hotel having just been renovated. Good for families and folks with pets too! Attention to detail and high quality furnishings. Well done all!!

I visited some years ago and the hotel was tired and dinghy. The hotel however has been completely transformed in 2025 and is now very chic, clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room had been fully renovated with new bed and furniture and the en suite had a double size shower and a bath. The restaurant was bright and modern with some self service for cereal and table service for cooked breakfast. There was ample parking and the adjoining tearoom served a variety of teas and coffees as well as delicious cakes and snacks. The North York moors are just a few minutes drive and Stokesley is the nearest town with good amenities. A great place for a weekend break.

Overnight journey breaker turned into one of those unexpected pleasant stays that recharge the batteries. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food in the restaurant was exceptionally good. The draught beer was well kept and the bar was comfortable. We'll be back possibly for the New Year party night but certainly for a walking weekend when the re-opening has taken place in 2025

Staff lovely and friendly as always. Rooms lovely though my bedroom floor was a bit dusty and in need of sweeping! Nice toiletries, though only 1 decaf coffee and no decaf tea in the room. Food is great but evening menu had very few vegetarian dishes all including mushrooms I was really disappointed with the choice. The lovely lady serving was very sympathetic to my poor choice. Breakfast great with lots of choice for veggies. I love this place including the staff, though would check ahead the veggie options in the restaurant if making a special journey to eat there.

Staff exceptional especially the chef who went out of their way to prepare dairy free dessert for my partner. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Super hotel, modern, very clean and extremely helpful and friendly staff. the room was excellent, huge walk in shower and a bath. The breakfast was excellent too. It's a beautiful location, and this recently refurbished hotel is a really good option for anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Modern Clean Pleasant. Rooms very comfortable. Food most excellent. Staff first class It was my birthday so there were one or two personal touches too!!
