Holiday Inn MILAN - GARIBALDI STATION by IHG

I stayed at this hotel for four days while in Milan. The front desk staff spoke English and were very patient in answering all my questions, which I really appreciated. The room was cleaned and tidied every day, which was excellent. The surrounding area was a bit average, with the streets being a little dirty and messy. It was also a bit of a walk to Garibaldi Porta Station, about ten minutes, which was a bit difficult when dragging luggage.

The room was long and narrow, but still quite spacious. However, the hotel is very old, and there was only one European F-type power outlet; all the others were old Italian sockets that couldn't be used. It's relatively close to the train station, but still about a 10-minute walk to Chinatown.

This hotel is conveniently located right at the corner, just a short walk from the Garibaldi Porta Train Station (exit at the end of Platform 20). The environment is lovely, and they even have bathtubs. The service is warm and friendly. There are restrooms and tea available in the lobby. Downstairs, you'll find a tram stop, and a Carrefour supermarket is just two bus stops away, saving you from the chaos of the Central Station. It's excellent value for money in Milan. Just a heads up, the famous Cimitero Monumentale is right across the bridge, so you'll be staying next to a cemetery! 😂

Facilities: Well-equipped. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: There's a tram line right outside the window, which can be a bit noisy, but it stops running late at night. Service: OK.
