Amazing hotel. Five star for sure but still feels really family friendly. The room is spacious and comfy beds. First night our single bed for son only had thin blanket on but just asked at reception for a duvet the next day and that was sorted instantly. They think of everything you get wash mitts, toothbrush toothpaste a razor, shaving cream etc. So many choices of snack bars there’s Mexican, Italian, Turkish. The Starbucks is only open a couple of hours in the morning and evening but worth waiting in the small queues for a nice iced coffee the gentleman that works at the coffee bar is lovely and went out of his way to make us iced caramel frappes without the coffee for our son. Love that the beach is private from the public. The hotel is very isolated so we feel safe that strangers are not wondering in. Transfers were only 20-25 mins from airport and we’ve booked a few excursions as still have six days left. Still feel like we have lots left to explore. The beer on draft is efes which is lovely and each snack bar has a variety of cocktails. They have an outdoor barbecue section each night in the main restaurant. Would reccomend this hotel to anyone for the views and cleanliness alone. It really is beautiful. Downside is lifts can get a little busy at peak times but that’s to be expected I suppose. This time of year isn’t too busy so not had to queue for snacks and drinks much. And the roller skate waiters will skate by so if you’re not much for queuing you can always collar one of them to ask for a drink. The spa team can be a little persistent I just gave in and booked on the second day so they’d leave us alone. But the massage was lovely. Would reccomend packing lots of suncream/goggles/pool floats and toys as shop is expensive. Bodrum markets which you can get a shuttle to for 10 euro return per person was an experience! You are pulled from stall to stall with people hounding you to buy from them. I get it’s the whole experience but it’s a bit overwhelming you have to be really good at saying no several hundred times. We left the markets after ten mins and wandered round the streets instead where there are still plenty of similar shops and lovely places for food. I’d would say take euros to shop with as some market stalls would convert to lira and add on extra so if you’re not fast with converting in your head they can rip you off. Overall La Blanche Island is an amazing place to stay and we’ll definitely be back again! Stunning hotel with great amenities.

A Very nice hotel. Family enjoyed their stay. However, the Love holiday representative that was allowed on site to book excursions cannot be trusted if any issue arises. My family and I booked a private boat for our family of 12. Seven adults and 5 children. Cost of trip £1062. The boat left the dock about 200 yards from the dock, but did not sail. There was engine problems, entering the boat, all family had to be helped as there was only one rail on right side to hold onto. Once on the boat, there were many metal contraptions, it was unsafe to allow the children to walk around.. Engineers came on board, still couldn't help. We couldn't sail for approximately 1 hour and fourty five minute or more. No real explanation was given, they then tried to offer another boat to enter on water with a big gap in between. We declined as we had something else booked that evening. Now we were told that they would look into our refund. But we were given the run around until we returned to the UK. We have been told there will be no refund as we cancelled. We did not cancel, we turned up, but what we were offered was never delivered. La Blanche is suppose to be a 5* hotel, so they really do need to monitor who comes into their hotel and rip customers off. It is a lot of money and I won't stop until I get my money back. Such a shame that this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and a damper on our holiday. I thought a rep from such agents as Love Holiday was meant to support and make sure we are happy with our bookings to help enhance our stay. Now I don't feel able to trust these reps. I booked in good faith as they came through La Blanche hotel. I wonder if anyone else has had difficulty with excursions they have booked through this hotel?

We are leaving the hotel today after a week spent on this resort. Absolutely no issues in terms of views form your rooms and around the resort. Absolutely picturesque and beautiful (see attached pictures) however if you are expecting a holiday where service is above and beyond and you want to try new foods everyday then this isn’t the best in that area I have stayed in Turkey many times in my life (Antalya been the favourite) however this hotel was just a little lacklustre. Perhaps my standards can be seen as a little high however from the many hotels in Turkey I have stayed at, service is usually brilliant at coming up and asking what drinks you would like, even around the pool. This hotel was very ‘sort yourself out’ and get everything yourself (this was fine once we worked this out). Turkey is also becoming increasingly common in seeing the well known roller skaters on resorts- you will not see this here Lobby bar will just collect your drinks and rarely ask for a new order for you, but when eating they are very quick to ask for your drinks order- so a little hit and miss I won’t lie Hotel rooms are spacious but strange they have carpet? Maybe just me haha. The room doesn’t offer a mini fridge and a mini bar however do not be expecting snacks with the mini bar as this seems to just be for those in upgraded/ swim up rooms. However the bar does provide nuts As for the food, a lot of the reviews for this hotel was in mention to the buffet and how it isn’t brilliant. Me and my partner usually disregard reviews like this and like to try for ourself as everyone has a different pallet for food however I sadly would have to agree. The buffet at this hotel truly had to be one of the worst I’ve ever encountered, and sadly the thing that brought this hotel rating down for us. Despite this hotel been a 4 or 5 star resort I would actually rate the buffet alone a 2.5- absolutely terrible. If you are happy eating the same old every night this isn’t for you, and sadly unless you were happy paying for an al a carte every night you are stuck as the snack bars shut at 5. We would advise eating as much as possible at the great snack bars or pancake stands throughout the day and using the buffet as a top up if peckish By no means are me and my partner fussy, we will eat absolutely anything and will give everything a go but; Breakfast we only did twice in the whole holiday as everything was the same everyday. The only fruit available was apples pears and oranges until maybe the last 3 days of our trip where they every now and again brought out melon and cherries. The scrambled egg was like eating rice pudding and the beans were flavourless Lunch, we tried to avoid lunch buffet and use the snack bars, BECAUSE, if you went to the lunch buffet you were getting EXACTLY the same meals at dinner. Not anything different at all Snack bars we could not fault and were delicious. We just wished they stayed open till like 8pm to allow for extra food options if dinner w

This is a good value break - so the main restaurant is good and has good choice. The staff are lovely and the on-site private beach has some breathtaking views. The rooms are spacious but tired in areas. Things to watch out for. The beach bar food is not what the pictures are and is not very good quality. The main restaurant is where I would go. The drinks are ok but there is some training needed on how to mix cocktails and drinks as the measures are ridiculous. The main issue is ice creams you aren’t allowed one until 1.30pm and the kids are all watching the fridge - it’s not really an all inclusive without ice creams for kids As I said good value but better hotels are available in Turkey

Visit 03rd May 2024 Group of 20, 10 adults and 10 children We arrived. I think a few days after the resort opened for the season the rooms were immaculate mini fridge stocked with drinks. Kettle with tea and coffee shower gel and soaps, slippers nothing to complain about with the room really nice. Restaurant was okay In the buffet, Pasta was lovely as was the pizza which is freshly cooked and normally Queue waiting for it To be made. The Mexican snack bar was really nice during the day The children loved the crispy chicken and freshly made pancakes. We did book the Italian restaurant and waited two hours still didn’t get our food and had to leave in the end. So that was a little disappointing. The grill outside the buffet was delicious and the best part of the evening meal I had this most evenings with salad from the buffet. Was great when we first arrived but as week was coming to an end and the hotel was getting busier. The Lines for the grill was huge. I don’t think I would enjoy staying here at the peak of summer as the hotel was not at capacity and felt really busy. There is a shop on site which is extortionate the pricing. This is the only shop and only shop around so if you would like crisps or chocolate for your room, I would suggest you take them with you as we got a tub of Pringles and a couple of bars of chocolate and it was €30. Spades were €15 And a float for the pool ranged from €40-€50 when there’s 10 children that soon added up. The waterslides were disappointing. They were mostly closed. And when they were open, only three Where on. The gate would be closed, so no access to the slides. The shows on the main stage were really good. The children really enjoyed them and they were quite professional for what you would expect on holiday. The little disco was good beforehand as well. We seen two shows , one was singing and dancing a little bit like The Greatest Showman type thing and one Was an acrobatic type show both were really good. We didn’t really see much going on through the day apart from water aerobics on the morning. Might have just been because it was the start of the season though We did one excursion for our rep the 4x4 Jeep Safari, which was amazing. We had such a great day would really recommend it. Two adults took all the children and everyone from adult teenagers and younger children enjoyed it. The children said it was the best day. All the older children 18-16 Went to the disco/ club every night And made loads of friends they really enjoyed that The hotel is a little away from everything so if you want to go out of the hotel, which we like to do, we had to book taxis We went out twice and had a great time we went to the next town over A 30 minute drive The second time we went to the next village over again, which was about a 50 minute drive again had a beautiful night. We all did the water sports one day on the beach and had a great time. We had a few goes each and the vendor was really accommod

Beautiful scenery surrounding hotel. Arrival- Arrived very late at night after a long flight, checked in and went to find our room. No direction to where it is or anything. The room number we were given didn’t exist. Went back to reception and spoke to someone else who confirmed we had been given wrong number. I recommend booking restaurant in advance with guest relation as wasn’t many reservations available. Food- we ate at Italian and Turkish restaurants. Turkish restaurant was amazing and staff couldn’t do anymore for you. Italian restaurant we enjoyed but preferred Turkish. The buffet restaurant always had a good selection of food which was tasty. However, the food could have been hotter and labelled better. We arrived down at 7 for it opening to see if food was hotter but still cold. We enjoyed eating at Italian, Mexican restaurants for lunch and really enjoyed the Turkish pancakes the lovely ladies made fresh in front of you. Room- Spacious room with sea view that we paid extra for but definitely worth it. Bed very comfy however feel room could’ve been cleaner, especially the bathroom. Staff- Amazing service daily from the man serving in the Starbucks everyday. He deserves credit for what he does. However, we arrived back to our room one day to a cleaner sitting in our room charging his phone with our cable. Pier pavilion- We paid €150 for no. 5 pier pavilion which was a lovely experience with beautiful views and direct access into the sea. A big thank you to the man who looked after us for the full day. Nothing was too much hassle and he brought us some lovely treats throughout the day without asking. Evening entertainment- we went to one show and never went to any again. Very poor. Every single night it was the same entertainment for kids which was very repetitive and very annoying to listen to every single night. No adult only areas or pool which makes it hard to relax when there is a lot of screaming children who should be at school. We purposely go on holiday when it isn’t the school holidays to avoid. However, we were woke up during the night with screaming children in the hall outside our room and in neighbouring rooms to then listen to them screaming all day too. Perhaps an adult only pool to relax could be considered. The most negative experience of the full holiday was being hassled daily by the same people to book spa, hair, water sports. Sometimes you were hassled several times throughout the day. Not the relaxing holiday experience we went for. If we wanted to book spa for example we knew where to find it. Very pushy lady from spa who doesn’t like no as an answer. Tom from Shanghai spoke to us daily with the same chat even though we said politely we weren’t interested. He also changed prices for certain people as we were told €45 per person and then heard him talking to a couple beside us and he told them €55 per person. Again, don’t appreciate being hassled for the full holiday. We were there for 11 nights and b

As a family, we've just got back from a week's stay at La Blanche Island. This is a lovely hotel with great facilities. - Great rooms - Friendly staff - Lots of food choice - 24hr bar (if you need one) - Decent entertainment, some nights better than others. For food, you can eat in the main hall which also provides an outside eating area, this outside area also provides additional food with fresh grilled meat and fish (I ate from this grill pretty much every night.) Dotted around the 'island' are additional eating areas for Mexican, Italian and seafood - I wouldn't say these are fully authentic but the food they provide is good, hot an provides a nice change. My lad thinks the cheeseburgers are the best he's ever had. Compared to previous hotels the food here is very good. There are a number of pools to choose from and beds right on the waterfront, some are mixed in with others while some are a bit more secluded so you can pick the best spot for yourself. The bar staff worked hard and were very friendly but it would be great if they received training on how to make cocktails as they were different from bar to bar and shift to shift, some were spot on and great, while others were very different. If you like nuts as a snack, you can eat your own body weight with them, just mind out as some of them are unshelled Pistachio and you can get a surprise. The variety of levels of cocktails didn't take anything away from the great holiday we had. There is also a Starbucks onsite, which provides hot and iced coffees, we tried a few, the kids liked the iced ones but coffee from the normal machines was perfectly fine. You'll meet Jimmy who provides watersports, which is not part of the hotel, great fun and a chance to practice your price haggling before you hit Bodrum for some shopping. If you want to get about, the Concierge will provide you with a door-to-door service to Bodrum or further afield but we ordered a yellow cab, it was cheaper and easy to use (30 euros each way). We were dropped off at a taxi rank at the top of the shopping street, with another one at the far end so it's easy to navigate and get home once you're done. Remember to have your door card ready as ID when you get back. The hotel's security is tight but ensures everyone you see is a guest so you can relax and enjoy your holiday. We also forgot to pack some of our suntan lotion, buying from the hotel shop is expensive at 30 euros per bottle. I got a yellow cab to 'Migros' a small supermarket in the local village. Taxi was 15 euro and the Suntan lotion was 10 euros per bottle. Getting about by taxi is easy, just don't forget your suntan lotion. You can also get a taxi up the hill to a bus stop and it's about 2 euros on the bus to Bodrum but the main road is busy and uses a slightly different driving style. Everyone is the family had a great time and would certainly come back to this resort.
