Plus: comfortable bed and pillows. Pillow and mattress protectors. Shower had reasonable pressure. Quality shampoo. Friendly and helpful staff. OK breakfast. Big TV. Minus: stains on carpet, filthy windows, no lift to 2nd floor, Heating kept turning itself down no matter how many times you reset the thermostat - hotel was cold, room was cold. Insufficient supply of tea and coffee and milk. No plug sockets anywhere near the bed so phone had to sit on desk on the other side of the room. No duvet protector - really poor hygiene omission. You have to stand under the shower to turn it on and get a blast of cold water. Conclusion. Poor value for money. Wouldn't stay again. The killer point was the fight to keep the temperature at a reasonable 21°. Wouldn't stay again or recommend.

Hotel and staff went above and beyond to make our stay as good as can be but the bar staff were rude and unhelpful, standing around chatting to each other while i waited 15 minutes to book a table, in the end i walked out and made a reservation online. throughout our meal they were unhelpful, not giving ketchup or asking would we like anything, no cutlery with the desserts , i had to go and find some. just generally rude, i will go to hotel again but will not use the bar or resturant for breakfast or any other meal. such rude staff, they need more training in customer service.

Nice pub next door but hotel a little tired. Easy to find premier inn with parking onsite (free). Pleasant staff members and food delivery available from the most popular high street restaurants. I had a five guys delivery which arrived in under 30 mins to the hotel

This hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade, with its flaky paint and tired looking rooms. The restaurant next door was even worse with worn and marked furniture and staff that clearly don't want to be there

A handy hôtel for visiting Bletchley Park. Some great rooms overlooking the lake ( unlucky if you get the car park side!) Spacious room with ultra comfy bed. Handy to have the on site restaurant after a busy day - saves driving out to find somewhere else to eat. Overall a 5* experience at a very good price.

We stopped here as it was close to Bletchley Park and had a nice pub next door for evening meal. We found all the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and warm enough in the evening although a little cool in the morning! The bed was comfy as in all Premier Inns. It was a good breakfast too. In a very nice setting looking onto the lake. We would recommend. Thank you.

Chose this hotel as cheap and near to a place we needed to visit. I guess with cheap you get grubby rooms Staff where absolutely lovely though and so helpful. Even helped me carry food to my room from the restaurant.

Came here for breakfast in the brand new breakfast room. WOW, what a difference! Greeted by the ever so lovely Deb, she asked right away about any allergies in our group and no issues with seating us - the little touches go a long way! We were given menus and explained where we could find everything. The chefs! Without them, our bellies would have been left rumbling! Jackie and Nora both ran smoothly, staying consistent, making sure food was frequently topped up and fresh. My marker for breakfast is the sausages and hash browns. 10/10! I could easily say they were the most delicious, perfectly crisp hash browns i have had at a premier inn. The sausages cooked perfectly! Overall, I would say this is the best addition to premier inn south Caldecotte. I will definitely be stopping by again for more hash browns!!

Good acces to The Stables MK from here - worth knowing that this Premier inn now has a new Breakfast Restaurant, whilst we did enjoy our breakfast, we did not think it was quite as good as it was when they used The Coldecote Arms next door. For some reason we did not solve, the bar in the Coldecote Arms closes at 10:30pm - seeing as many people staying here would enjoy a drink when they return from thier concert or theatre - whilst this is not a fault of Premier Inn they could offer a later bar themselves as other Premier Inn do. I've used this Permier Inn a lot in that last few years - it is a great location for just about anywhere iin Milton Keynes, The Stables is only 10 minutes away. This hotel is in a nice quiet area, the lakes are lovely and for many rooms is the view from the hotel window, The Coldecote Arms next door does great food and drink. Overall i have no complaints about this hotel. As mentioned though, just a shame i can't get a 'nightcap' after 10:30pm returning from a concert.
