The Virginian Motel

Pretty good stay. I took off one star due to the bathroom having a quarter roll of toilet paper and no extras. Just an inconvenience by needing to request more and dealing with a used roll.

Room was clean. But the A/C didn’t work. The fan did but it did not blow cold air. The shower was also broken, the cold faucet was stripped and very difficult to turn off. Staff also just left our room key in an envelope on the counter (we did get in late) and then no one was at the desk upon our early arrival. Not impressed with anything here.

The shower head fell off when I turned the water on. The back parking area was near the garbage dumpsters. The gates to this area were left open with the dumpsters exposed and numerous bags of garbage laying on the ground. The check-in experience was mediocre at best. I certainly didn't feel welcome and will not be returning to this property.

Staff was nice, spacious and clean room with fridge and microwave. Great location in downtown Moab with good travel times to all parks and outdoor areas.

The entire property was very clean. The room was very clean centrally located and convenient. However, the air conditioner was so noisy they kept me up all night. If not for that I would have given a full five stars there's no one there to even complain to about it in the morning when we checked out

The most gross and dirty place I’ve ever stayed at in my 30 years of travel. The microwave didn’t work as it seems that the room didn’t have enough power supplied to it. It would turn on for 1-2 seconds then shut off completely along with the desk light. Lights in the bathroom would turn off on its own randomly and you’d be left in the dark while using it. I wanted to make some coffee in the morning only to find that the coffee machine had a thick layer of dust over it and inside the water reservoir. So gross! The sink, toilet, and bathtub all showed terrible wear. Lastly, they didn’t clean up our room. Avoid this place at all costs!

Just needed a place to sleep and early checkout. Room was clean, AC was loud but worked great. Bed was comfy! Parking was easy. It was close to our early morning tour to Arches Park!
