Well, what can I say about this hotel? Besides its location, there are no other upsides. In 5 days, our room was never cleaned, not even the trash we left outside the door was picked up. The food at the hotel is pretty mediocre, and breakfast was quite sparse, though there was *something* to eat. If you want to see turtles, then this hotel might work for you. The room is run-down and worn out, more like a flophouse in the guise of a hotel. I don't know whether to rate it two stars, three stars, or no stars at all – that's up to you to decide. Outside, there's a pool with a few sun loungers, and direct access to the sea.

They put me in a room that didn't match the one I booked on Trip. When I asked why, the answer was 'overbooking.' The photos don't match the description, and so on. It's best to get here from Moalboal by tricycle, around 150-200 pesos is ideal. The room itself was clean and recently renovated. They make you sign a paper about being responsible for stains on the bedding and towels, which is the first time I've ever seen that. They also took a 1000 peso deposit. Additionally, you're not allowed to make noise, cook, etc. There are water dispensers on each floor. A big TV was a plus, as was the new A/C and fan. The bedding was clean, but there were ants. But the main highlight is the direct access to the sea. There are also two pools and sun loungers. To the right, you can see sardines and turtles. Don't fall for people asking for money for snorkeling! The buffet breakfast was quite good.

Breakfast was pretty average, just stick to the eggs. We booked two tours through the hotel, and they were more expensive than outside options. We thought booking with the hotel would guarantee better service, but it turned out to be terrible. The hotel seems to partner with really subpar dive shops. For the first tour, sardine run snorkeling, they refused to take us back to the hotel afterward, forcing us to walk back, which was a very bad experience. The second time, for the Canyoneering at Kawasan Falls, they completely messed up the timing. We were scheduled for 7 AM, but no one showed up. When we called to confirm, they admitted they'd forgotten. They finally arrived after 8 AM, cutting into our activity time. Our guide was quite old and had poor English, whereas others we saw had young, lively, and talkative guides. I definitely advise against booking any tours through this hotel.

This hotel is a mixed bag, to be honest. The common areas are nice, and they even lend out snorkeling gear. But the in-room facilities are genuinely annoying. The faucet pressure is low, and the air conditioning is a noisy, integrated unit – it's either hot with it off or cold with it on. I was in room 101.

The room was incredibly spacious and the location was excellent – probably the best hotel in the area. Parking was free, and it was just a few minutes' walk from the sardine area. The sunsets were beautiful, and you could borrow life vests, masks, and snorkels to use in the hotel's swimming area. The only minor issue was the hot water; it seemed to be a voltage problem because sometimes it was scalding hot and other times only cold water came out. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options.
