The owner of the B&B, styled in traditional Northeastern floral padded coats, in Arctic Village is very genuine and a bit shy. The location is excellent, right on the '一路向北' (Road to the North). We had a blast with snowball fights and splashing water to make ice – the owner even provides the equipment for free! It's best to splash around 9 AM; the sun can be too glaring once it's fully out. We absolutely loved Mohe!

The stay is right inside Arctic Village, walking distance around 10-15mins from the bus centre. The photo provided is exactly what in their stay 100% real no ads!! And the most important thing is: their guobaorou is a must! It is the nicest for both of us. We had so many guobaorou in Dongbei but this is definitely the best ever we had! All of the people are very helpful.

The room has a distinct Northeastern Chinese style, and the indoor heating kept us warm even with temperatures dropping to -20 or -30 degrees Celsius. The guesthouse even provided props for the 'splashing water into ice' activity, which we tried right before checking out – it was a lot of fun! The bathroom drain had a slight odor, and there was a small stain on the duvet, but since we only stayed one night, we didn't bother mentioning it.

Best homestay experience. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Owner 小谢 discussed and planned my itinerary even before 2 months before my arrival. At that point of time, my China payment mode was not set up; we basically worked based on trust. His wife's cooking is delicious!! We have every meal there. We also had good chat. Driver 小赵 drives well and is very caring. He kept making sure we had enough to keep ourselves warm whenever we alight. Overall, this is really a good place to stay; with really good people. Highly recommended.
