Mohe Wenjun Farmhouse

Arctic Village is a place where it's easy to feel happy. I stayed in a heated 'kang' (traditional Northern Chinese bed), and the heating was excellent. The picture was taken from my bed around 7 AM, looking out the window. It's beautiful, and the owner was very welcoming and attentive to every detail.

The room heating was more than adequate, thanks to the underfloor heating and sealed windows that kept out the cold. The owner offers a car service for private tours and pick-ups/drop-offs, which is very convenient. The guesthouse itself is ideally located close to the bus station and the scenic area entrance, making transportation a breeze. The owner even provided free tools for the 'splash water into ice' activity. Just a heads-up, you'll need to ask the owner for towels and toiletries.

I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I'll just share some scenic shots! But the room was exactly as described in the hotel's introduction: full-house underfloor heating, and even the dorm beds had private bathrooms. The uncle and auntie (owners) were incredibly welcoming and you can arrange shared rides through the hotel. We took a bus from the train station to the village, and it was just a 100-meter walk to find the place. It's also super close to attractions like the northernmost post office. The front yard is a hostel, so there were lots of young people to hang out with. My Mohe experience was absolutely fantastic!

A really great guesthouse! The key is that the owners are so friendly and welcoming – I really liked them. The environment was perfectly acceptable for me, and it was quite clean and hygienic. Opening the window to see all the snow-covered houses outside was truly beautiful~

The owner provided excellent service. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable. They even offered a service of knocking on the door to wake me up so I could watch the Northern Lights from next to the accommodation. It was fantastic!
