Shui yun ya ju villa hotel

I stayed here at the beginning of my 20 day self-driving road trip around Heilongjian and Inner Mongolia. This stay was a perfect way to start my trip. The welcome and hospitality from the stay was very much appreciated. The room was comfortable and warm, with everything I needed. Breakfast was very tasty. The accomodation has coffee at reception if you drink it, but it is an extra cost. I rented a Tank 300 for my trip and was uncertain how it would perform in the low temperatures. So, I messaged the boss if I could use his garage. When I arrived, it was waiting for me for 50 RMB a night. I parked up and had my own garage for 2 nights. The location is the other side of the river from the town centre. The walk is peaceful, the river in its frozen form is very nice and can be walked on or along. There are plenty of restaurants next to the hotel too, and the boss recommended some to me when I arrived. One improvement would be to tidy up after the dogs/cats outside. It can be seen and smelt and would be better if it was cleaned up. I am now nearing the end of my trip. I have driven thousands of kilometres, visited many towns and villages and met many guesthouse, hotel and hostel owners. Yet I will always remember the start of my journey at this guesthouse fondly. The place is very nice and modern, creating a comfortable and homey atmosphere. The place is spotless and well-maintained. The room was warm and had a reliable hot water supply. The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. They also offer a complimentary airport pickup and stayed in touch with me since before my journey started. Since I didn’t have a Chinese adapter (Type A or Type I), the owner kindly lent me his own for my stay there, for which I’m very grateful. [Any foreigners traveling to china be sure to carry a Type A, or Type I adapter] They helped me arrange a taxi to the places I wanted to visit, providing all the necessary details to the driver so I didn’t have to worry about anything. The taxi driver was also very nice and helpful. The owner even personally drove me to buy a power bank, as I didn’t speak Chinese, and later dropped me off at the railway station. The stay itself was excellent—very comfortable with amazing views from the room. But what truly made it the best trip I’ve ever had was the owner’s outstanding hospitality and helpfulness. I definitely recommend this place!

The hotel was very clean and very friendly to travellers for such a price, this hotel lobby has a cat and 3 dogs if you are a pet lover you would enjoy it much more the windows scene was very nice also to me and lastly. opposite the street there is restaurants.

Beautiful place. room is so bug with heated floor. Friendly owners who gave us breakfast when we arrived early in the morning. We had given them some gifts for being such a nice host. In returned they gave us even more gifts from mohe. They have shown such great courtesy. We appreciate it very much. We even get to do the hot water splash in the cold weather outside the hotel. Lovely. A very memorable trip.
