North Muju Hotel

Didn't take any interior photos. The environment is really great, and the design is very stylish. The bedding was comfortable. Service attitude was excellent. I took a picture of the freshly ripened vegetables in the yard and even ate a raw eggplant, which tasted surprisingly good.

The location is about 400 meters from the village's central post office. The courtyard is made of wood and is very beautiful. There's no air conditioning, but there are fans. However, in Arctic Village, you absolutely don't need AC at night; it's wonderfully cool. The landlady was very welcoming and even invited me to have breakfast with her. There are cute little cats in the yard. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would choose to stay here again.

I chose this place because the rooms looked clean and it was newly opened, and the log cabins were unique. The room itself was actually very good, exactly as pictured. It was my first time staying in a B&B, and I was a bit unaccustomed at first because the service wasn't quite up to hotel standards, and breakfast was too simple. However, after interacting with the owners, I found them to be very nice. The male owner seems aloof on the surface but quietly gets things done behind the scenes (you turn around, and the task is already completed), which is hilarious! This personality must be quite a disadvantage for him, haha. The B&B is on the main road of Beiji Village, and the bus station, northernmost post office, and restaurants are all on this main road, making it convenient to walk with luggage. At night, after dinner, the road is lit, so I wasn't afraid walking back (some of the side roads are very dark, and some B&Bs look quite scary, making you hesitant to go in at night). I ended up extending my stay for three nights to explore slowly. We asked the owner to arrange a shared car to Beihong Village, First Bend, and Birch Forest, and the driver was excellent. The day trip to such distant and potentially dangerous roads was truly worth it. We even saw Wang Anyu and Zhang Ruonan filming a drama in the Birch Forest – a pleasant surprise! P.S. Don't expect amazing food in Beiji Village; just eat to fill up. Save the good food for Harbin. In mid-March, we woke up at 6 AM every day to successfully splash water into ice, so no regrets there!

The room was very clean and warm, and the toiletries provided were high-quality disposable towels. The owner was very nice and an excellent cook 😋. The small courtyard was beautifully decorated and cozy, and there was an adorable kitten. We also got to try the 'water-splashing-to-ice' photography experience for free. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit.

I absolutely love this guesthouse! It's clean, comfortable, and they thoughtfully provide disposable toiletries for guests. The decor makes it feel like you're staying in a cabin abroad. The breakfast is delicious too. There's even a little courtyard outside the guesthouse that's perfect for photos, you can even try the 'splashing water into ice' trick there. I'll definitely stay here again next time! 😊
