Every single member of the staff was charming, helpful and unobtrusively went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. We chose a superior room, which it was, lovely furnishings and little corners made it feel both luxurious and a space for us to feel at home. In our room on the second floor at the back of Chateau we found ourselves at tree height looking out at a nest of branches. Our dinner at the Oliba restaurant was spectacular and the chef, Benoit Janet, surprised, delighted and astonished us with really special subtle courses. If you come for nothing else, come for his cooking.
