Great place to relax and enjoy nature. Perfect two day stay in a stunning place! Nature and landscape around, clean, big garden, swimming pool, lovely people around, trips around possible. Check with staff various possibilities. Loved the design of the building, the location, the staff and the peaceful environment. Only down side was noise from bedrooms on either side - thin walls ! Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of quality and fresh local products. The garden is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable, charming and super clean. Nice big and comfy bed. But the walls are thin and you can hear the room next door without much noise from the neighbors. In our case there were few people near by but when is full it must be quite annoying. Loved the semi-private terrace with great views over the countryside. There are very good typical portuguese restaurants less than 10min by car. Breakfast/dining room a little bit stuffy and possibly a crowded spot. Too small when the place has all the accommodations occupied The same happens in the pool area. A fantastic spot but it becomes very crowded when there are many guests at the same time. Many sunbeds allow the permanence of many guests at the same time which causes them to be all on top of each other. when this happens there is also a lot of noise which makes it impossible to rest and relax (if there are children it is naturally worse) Once again I praise (a lot) the staff that seemed short/small to me (e.g.: the receptionist does the cleaning and even helps with meals). Which makes the friendliness, attention and care of all the staff even more complimentary. In short, if it weren't for the very thin walls of the rooms and the existence, in my opinion, of a high number of possible guests, which, when overcrowded, does not allow for real rest, this accommodation would easily receive 10 stars. No matter what happens in the future, the success of this spot is essentially due to the staff. I never get tired of praising them I'll come back for sure (but first I'll confirm if there isn’t too many reservations for the same date) ;)
