The hostel is near the free cable car terminal. From there, we walked through the houses in picture 3 to reach the cable car to the summit. The Green Lake Lodge in autumn is breathtaking, but unfortunately, photos taken from the top with a phone didn't turn out very well. We thought we could continue walking after taking the cable car up, but it turns out we were already at the summit. Although there's a 360-degree loop path at the top, it only offers panoramic views. If you have time, I recommend choosing a one-way cable car ride. We walked from the town to the main road near the Fairmont Hotel and discovered a small grove of trees with stunning fall foliage – perfect for photos (picture 8). Back to the hostel, there's a drop-down parking garage. After check-in at the front desk, you get a card to park there; it costs 27 Canadian dollars per day. The rooms have a decent kitchen area with amenities (picture 4). You can enjoy hot tea and watch the sunset from the balcony.

Encounters with staff were efficient and enjoyable. The location is perfect for access to the gondola and the pedestrian village. The dishwasher in the room was as in horrible condition, several functions were inoperable and it was incredibly noisy. We had a ground floor room and it had an ant problem even though it was winter. The hotel no longer provides a roll of paper towels and there was no can opener. Given that it is a full kitchen unit, more baking and serving dishes, like bowls and platters, are required. We had to bring too many things from home.

Very convenient location for skii in/out. Nice outdoor hot tub (sauna was broken when we were there). Easy access to your car from the room. Overall we had a great stay

The hot tub outside was far too hot. My skin reacted to the heat and chemicals and legs were red for several hours after trying to cool down. The cold plunge pool was cold and very old it needs to be seriously cleaned or replaced.

Yes everything was close by within few min walking distance. Room had kitchen fully equipped including dishwasher.

The hot tub and sauna were ooo. The property is modest yet to the point. Very clean and very nice staff. Located in town yet far away from noise. 3 minutes walk to pick up valet ski and lifts. 2 minutes into town. The rooms are spacious with two queen beds. Nice and warm fireplace. Balcony, kitchen and bath with tub. Just a wonderful place.
