The service and rooms were excellent. However, consider if you have kids or need to work the WiFi is not a good connection at all and it is capped.

The hot pool was not functional, and they did not mention this when I have made the booking and spend 3 hours on the road to get there. This was the worst hot spring I have been to.

Nice place for a family getaway. Every section has a pool and 1 warm water pool. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This is the 3rd time here on a yearly basis. Excellent pensioner specials. The lawns and gardens are very well maintained and no bugs or mosquitoes. Lots to do in the town. Nice hiking trails and great restaurants. Will come again.

We only started enjoying out stay after thre second day, the chalets require a major update and feedback has been provided. The facilities though are nice and clean, the outside setting along the mountain is beautiful

Our experience fell far below expectations. All three units had maintenance issues—from faulty plugs, leaking basins and patios, to water dripping on sleeping children due to roof leaks. Most concerning was the cockroach problem, which raises serious hygiene concerns, especially for a family-friendly resort. Additionally, the heated pool was not warm, and no prior notice was given. As a long-time guest, I was deeply disappointed, especially as I had brought first-time visitors along. The resort no longer reflects the quality it once stood for. Not worth the price given the lack of upkeep and communication.

Nice place for family , the hot water pool is definitely a winner. The family really enjoy the swimming and we had a nice peacefull sleep.

The place was smelly and dirty. The furniture was dirty and falling apart. The shower was filthy and the outside not well maintained at all. It was not worth the amount of money we paid. The WiFi could not be accessed and we were given an hour accessibility and thereafter had to purchase data. The best part of the vacation was having access to Avalon Springs at an extra cost. Heard so much about this accommodation and my family and I were very disappointed! Would not recommend to anyone!!!

Unit outdated. Torn curtains, unpractical bathroom. Bedroom layout with two beds don't allow for door to be closed for privacy. Floors broken and fixed with duct tape. Braai area not maintained and not grids not cleaned in ages. Units not inspected prior to check-in, Gas Geyser was not heating and required attention. Two lights were not working upon arrival and needed attention. Pool area overcrowded, diving splashing allowed even when rules state it is not - security oversight just ignores it. Noise by fellow guests into the early hours of the morning allowed, even when rules state no noise after 22h00 - again security oversight allows it. Best part of the visit - leaving the resort and accommodation to visit Avalon Springs and Surrounding Areas.
