Lovely and quiet place, will definitely come back here

I have been fortunate to travel much around the world in my life and, accordingly, have stayed at many B&B's and similar hospitality venues. This venue in Montagu is among the best, if not the best.. Our stay was short but most memorable.

Exceptional. Our hosts Pam and Ant go above and beyond to make our stay as close to perfect as possible. Beautiful rooms, lovely gardens, amazing views and the best breakfast you can get. David and Annalie, Incredible Journeys Africa.

Staying at Montagu Vines Guesthouse was just wonderful. We loved everything about it and would come back anytime. The hosts are so welcoming and kind, always helpful with recommendations. The rooms are beautiful and very comforable. The breakfast was super fresh, tons of great options and simply delicious. And the location of the guesthouse is really hard to beat - such a beautiful garden with old trees, the pond, the olive grove, the views. Just a fantastic stay altogether.

Our stay at Montagu Vines while in Montagu for a family wedding was honestly one of the best guest house stays ever. The room was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts Pam and Anthony absolutely delightful. The staff were warm and welcoming and there was attention to fine detail to make the stay very special. We will be back.

We certainly will come back again. Very nice place, quiet, very good breakfast, very friendly owners. We felt very well.

Beautiful place to stay for one or two days. We stopped for one night on our way from Oudshoorn to Franschoek. The guest house has a perfect and quiet location only 10 minutes walk from a few nice restaurants in the centre of the town. We were offered a complimentary bottle of white wine while spending an hour on a sunbed close to the little pool. The Owners were very friendly and helpful and we ended our stay next morning with a very good breakfast. This is a nice Guesthouse which is highly recommended.

I can't praise Pam and Anthony enough for their welcome and warmth. Comfortable, beautiful setting, knowledgeable, helpful hosts – just ask the giant turtles and stunning owls, they can't get enough of the place either!

Lovely guesthouse in beautiful Montagu. Friendly welcome to a stunning guesthouse set in gorgeous grounds. Beautiful room, good sized bathroom and sweet little terrace to sit outside and enjoy the gardens and views. The bed was so comfortable, perfect pillows and the bathroom had everything you need - the shower was excellent and a lovely bath tub. Honesty bar and ice machine were fab additional benefits. Brilliant breakfast. Lovely little plunge pool in the gardens. Close to everything in Montagu and being able to walk to restaurants was great. Such a lovely place
