The hotel is very well appointed, nice location within easy walking distance of the train station and plenty of amenities such as shops, restaurants and anything else you might need. Although you will find that this hotel has pretty much everything you need in house. From some nicely designed rooms with various themes depending upon the floor you are located on. Although if you find you are on a floor with room decor that does not suit you the ever helpful staff will attempt to offer you alternatives on other floors. There is a full spa offering several relaxation type pools with a variety of jacuzzi and other style functions, two saunas, a steam room, even what I liked to call a contemplation room. This latter one is styled with illuminated walls that resemble lava and a ceiling of stalagmites, with soothing music playing and the subtlety of salt in the air along with some comfortable chairs to sit in. Also provided are loungers, rockers and even complimentary drinks for those using the spa facilities. Also don't forget a range of massages available to be booked. The final icing on the cake is the restaurant on the 5th floor that offers panoramic views of montecatini and the surrounding countryside. Here you get a sumptuous breakfast with a great range of options as well as a different evening meal menu each day featuring the best that could be sourced locally. They even went to the effort of getting the chef to make a special birthday cake which we wanted to celebrate my brothers 60th birthday. Nothing is too much trinket for the staff here. I for one intend to go to this hotel again.

Avoid this hotel at all cost! Their bedroom doors are difficult to open. I was not the only guest who had a problem opening my bedroom door. The air conditioner does not seem to be getting cold no matter how much lower I put the temperature. But the worst thing is that their glass shower door almost fell on me when I opened it because it got unhinged! Now I am willing to excuse that as a freak accident. But the hotel had lousy customer service! I was expecting them to have it repaired while I was having dinner. Yet they postponed it to the following day, saying I can still use the shower without the door. They said they can't offer me another room because they were fully booked. And they did not even make an effort to try to get me a room in another hotel, saying Montecatini Terme was fully booked. They are lucky they aren't in the U.S., because I could have sued them for the falling door. Their lack of apology or concern or attempt to make amends show how little they care about their customers. They were just expecting me to just live with the problem. Trafalgar Travel should seriously rethink their partnership with this hotel.

Great hotel, clean spacious room, amazing location. Delicious breakfast on the top floor of the hotel with a breath taking view. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to train station/ 5 min walk; shops, cafes restaurants all around. Loved every moment. Thank you!

Excellent location but that’s all. The rooms were very cramped; my bed was extremely uncomfortable, the furnishings were gross, the wardrobe didn’t open properly, the shower was minute; and they don’t supply an iron on request. We would have had to iron out of the room in any event because the space was so small. Front office staff were generally rude; in fact after waiting a few minutes for a receptionist to look up from his computer and acknowledge my presence - I ended up asking him ‘am I invisible?’ Dining staff were all very efficient, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was terrible. The ‘fresh’ fruit wasn’t always fresh, nor were the pastries - and if you presented at breakfast say 5 or 10 minutes after the plate of communal scrambled eggs arrived - the dish was stone cold. All in all we hated going into our hotel - and after 6.5 weeks visiting several countries and staying in various hotels; this was the only one that let us down; and boy did it let us down.

Very good positioning of the hotel, very clean and friendly and hospitable staff. It is very close to the city center and the numerous and famous shops. Very good breakfast. A breakfast with seasonal fruits, Italian coffee, traditional cheeses and homemade cakes.

Very good hotel to stay at and use the Spa. Comfortable beds and bath with shower products included. Good breakfast and the employees very nice. You must wear bathrobe to use de spa (towels are not allowed) or rent one.

I returned this year after a great experience last year. The hotel did not disappoint! Charming staff-especially the restaurant’s. And the panoramic roof top restaurant is a delight. Loved my room, and the little balcony! Recommend and hopefully will return next year. Thank you.

I have never be in such beautifull hotel in my life ＜3 People there are nice and help everyone. I can feel calm and relaxed :) I will recomend that place Everyone ;) I left on the desk in my room paper on which I wrote ‚best regards and my opinion that They are amazing’ ;)
