Nous avons passé un weekend moto super agréable au Relais Manderen. L'établissement est très bien situé, et au calme d'un joli petit village. Le service était impeccable et toujours avec le sourire. Ils ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable, et ce fut le cas. Un merci tout particulier à Marie (pour le ventilo et son accueil) et au garçon de salle , qui nous a toujours servi avec sourire et humour. Bref, nous recommandons vraiment avec joie cet hotel. Juste une petite remarque ... La carte repas est un peu courte quand on y reste trois jours ... Et le wifi pas très puissant . Mais sinon, c'était parfait ! La terrasse est super agréable . La literie parfaite et la chambre très cosy.

We booked this as a one night stopover returning from a European holiday. The hotel was not clean on arrival, and the corridors and reception area were full of rubbish and cages containing dirty sheets, pillows etc. Check in was quick but getting into the room with the PIN code was a nightmare and took a good five minutes. The room was basic, not overly clean and did not resemble the marketing photos. The sink is in the room, as is the shower, and only the toilet is in a separate room behind a door. The sink had lots of cigarette burns round it and the shower head is fixed; my wife is 5’ 4” and the water shot over her head onto the opposite wall. The fixed head also meant the floor outside was soaking wet when stepping out. The weather was hot and as there was no air conditioning, we had to have the window wide open (if you have children, it’s worth bearing in mind there are no safety catches on them) which from a security perspective was concerning. More cigarette burns were on the windowsill, and we noticed the tarpaulin covering part of a damaged roof. On the plus side, the location is quiet and we were not disturbed. For some reason, few places appeared to be open locally, and we ate at McDonald's for dinner. As the breakfast in the hotel the next morning looked shockingly poor (again, nothing like the photos) we looked for somewhere else for breakfast - even the McDonald’s didn’t open until 11am, so we just hit the road. In summary, this is quite possibly the worst hotel we’ve stayed in and we definitely won’t return.

We stayed here for three nights on our Maginot Line tour and I found the experience very pleasant. There were a couple of restaurants just yards away and Thionville wasn't too far. My room was pleasant with an excellent shower and a nice, comfortable bed but no tea/coffee-making facilities which was a shame. We dined in the restaurant on our last night as we had a very early start in the morning and the food was fine. The staff were very pleasant and made sure we were able to put a 'breakfast box' together for our 0415 leave to come home! There was a small selection of local ales available from the bar of which I sampled a couple and enjoyed them.

J’ai réservé une chambre pour trois nuits pour mon neveu . Je suis allé chercher la carte d’accès vers 16h30. À la réception , on me temps une pile de linges à mettre dans la chambre . J’ai précisé que je ne faisais que récupérer les clés mais que je ne souhaite pas y accéder . Le soir , qu’elle ne fut pas la surprise de mon neveu ! Les serviettes étaient inexistantes ! De plus , la chambre sentait la cendre froide ! Mon neveu a demandé de changer de chambre . La nouvelle chambre avait le volet cassé , pas de courant et la literie très inconfortable ! Mon neveu a quitté l’établissement en payant une nuit , les petit-déjeuners étant offerts ! C’est tout de même lamentable d’avoir un service de si piètre qualité !

Perfect and heating works very well, staff is pleasant and the hotel is well located, just next to the motorway My stay was very pleasant I even returned there 3 weeks later, I strongly recommend this hotel

B & B hotels are generally basic, but good value. This one was certainly basic, had several added advantages:- A proper reception desk - nominally manned 24 hours a day, but the receptionist clearly had other duties so sometimes needed to be sought out; very pleasant and helpful staff; an excellent location by the train station and a short walk across the river from the town centre; good view (from our room) over the river to the town. Sadly the on-site restaurant was closed throughout our stay, but I would nonetheless rate the place as very good for the price we paid.

by late arrival easy to miss the elevator activation procedure (press activate & call- to connect with reception) and you have to climb up to the 6th floor. Next hussle the payment of 75€ deposit for the room payable by credit card but no amex 🙈🙈🙈 So it wasnt possible as with my german debit card it never worked in france too 🙈🙈 Finally after messaging the boss n waiting his reply it was possible to pay cash for the deposit…..and dont forget you are in france so tourist tax have to be paid as well 🙈😬😬 lets see how the breakfast will be tomorrow morning. clean room but no fridge, glasses or any nice complimentries/ greenery in the steril room.
