I chose this hotel because it's new, and it definitely felt fresh compared to many older hotels in North America. The rooms are spacious, and there's a Chinese supermarket and restaurants nearby. Parking costs $18 per night.

My top choice for business trips to Los Angeles. The room was in great condition, very clean, and the location was good – surprisingly quiet, actually. Excellent value for money; for this price in this area, it's really good. The only drawback was not being able to charge an electric car. It would be perfect if they could add that.

Traveling to Los Angeles with my family this time, we chose this Holiday Inn Express & Suites, and the experience exceeded our expectations! First off, the location is incredibly convenient, right in Monterey Park. It's surrounded by amazing Chinese restaurants and Asian supermarkets, which was a huge plus for our 'Chinese stomachs' – we didn't have to worry at all about finding food for the kids. The double queen room we booked was very spacious, and the two queen beds were super comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent attention to detail regarding hygiene. The hotel facilities were also comprehensive, including a pool where the kids could burn off some energy. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in, and they were really helpful in answering our questions about the surrounding area. As a stopover for a family trip, this place offers great value for money. We felt safe and comfortable, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again next time we visit!

Overall, my stay was quite satisfying. However, there's definitely an issue with the room's soundproofing. When there was significant noise outside, it easily permeated the room, slightly affecting my rest and privacy. On the positive side, the hotel is located in a very safe Chinatown neighborhood. Walking around, I felt a sense of order and peace, which was very reassuring. The surrounding amenities are also top-notch. From supermarkets and pharmacies for daily necessities to leisure and entertainment spots, everything is readily available and of high quality, making everyday life incredibly convenient. All in all, despite the soundproofing issue, it didn't detract too much from the experience; my stay was still quite good.

I've stayed here several times now. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are all very nice. The lobby has now been converted into a self-service breakfast area. The parking lot is also very secure; you get a card to swipe for entry, which is very safe.

It's a one-bedroom suite, very spacious. The facilities are just 'there,' but everything else is great. Right outside, there are several supermarkets, including a Chinese supermarket and a 'Lao Bai' (local/Western) supermarket, so dining is also very convenient.
