AC Hotel Old Montreal Reviews

Great location, near many historical sites in Montreal. It is in a walking distance to shopping, eating.

The hotel's excellent location is a definite A+. It's a 10, even. It's literally a 3-5-minute walk to the city center, the pedestrian walkway, and the water. This is a Marriott hotel with newly renovated rooms, everything you need, good service, and a wonderful explanation. There's paid parking. There's food, a restaurant, and a "Yebara" restaurant on the hotel grounds, but it's not included in the service. We recommend visiting the small cafes and restaurants nearby. Overall, everything is good. Only positive reviews. There's one small drawback that irritated us a little. It's the oldest, most humming air conditioner in the world, which can't be turned off because the windows don't open, and it immediately becomes stuffy. There's no central air conditioning. It's just in the window. It was a minor annoyance, of course. Let's just say it was distracting and annoying, plus the renovations they forgot to tell us about. Basically, everything was fine.

Spacious, clean room.  Perfect location.  Everything in Old Montreal is in walking distance.  We will definitely stay again.

Amazing property and location. Room is spacious, comes with mini fridge and espresso maker. Bathroom is modern and clean, and great water pressure. There is filtered water and ice machine combo in each floor which is super nice, and convenient. In the middle of Old Montreal, on a quiet street, and close to public transport. I will definitely be back here next time I am in Montreal.

Great location and reasonable price, perfect for sightseeing.

A nice hotel with a smooth and hassle-free check-in process. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the arrival experience pleasant. The facilities are all very new and well-maintained, giving the hotel a modern and comfortable atmosphere. However, the hotel was recently renovated, so there was still a noticeable smell lingering in the rooms.

Dated deco and musty smell for my room but the location is conveniently located. Easily accessible by foot.

It’s located in the center of old port, walking distance to Notre dame and lots of eateries around there. Parking cost 35 per day.

I'm speechless. I'm truly speechless. There's no air conditioning, but there's a super loud heater. When it's on, it's so noisy I can't sleep, it triggers panic attacks; when it's off, I freeze to death.

In the center of the old city, about 8 minutes walk from Notre Dame, Old Port and Chinatown. The decoration is a bit old, but it is clean. There is a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. You can see a unique view outside the window (see picture), and the atmosphere is full.

The location is good and the staff is very friendly. The room was clean.
