Wir wurden durch den Kastellan, Herr Bauer, sehr freundlich empfangen. Nach der langen Autofahrt empfahl er uns einen angenehmen Spaziergang in unmittelbarer Umgebung vom Schloss. In der Zwischenzeit reservierte er uns einen Tisch in einem ausgezeichneten Steak Haus im nächsten Ort. Unser Zimmer war rustikal eingerichtet und hatte einen schönen Ausblick. Das Frühstück wurde im Kreuzgewölbe in den ehem. Hengsten Stallungen serviert. Der Tisch war sehr einladend gedeckt, man servierte uns lauter regionale Spezialitäten. Der Kellner ist überaus freundlich und zusammen mit dem Kastellan ein gut eingespieltes Team. Wer sich in alten Gemäuern wohl fühlt, ist hier genau richtig. Sollten wir uns wieder mal in der Gegend aufhalten, werden wir gerne wieder ein Zimmer in diesem altehrwürdigen Schloss buchen.
